Official FUTURE A1/FBG Thread

I came in to echo that ^

This album is straight, but his 3 mixtapes prior to this album are way better, IMO.

WAY better. I peeped game as soon as he named the album Dirty Sprite 2. You don't catch lightning in a bottle twice but with the run he just have us he convinced me it was possible. Future is a mixtape artist. Nothing more, nothing less. If he's embrace that that the streets will take care of him but if he keeps trying to blend that sound into mainstream it's not gonna work :{

*plays yeah yeah*

I like this better than Beast Mode but not 56 Nights and Monster.

The Percocet & Stripper Joint should of been longer.

You gotta remember future grows on you each listen well at least for me.

I remember hearing 56 nights and I was like man this is fire and after a couple more listens I was like no this is realllllllyyyy fire :hat :lol

There are some nice tracks that I can play but Future has a sound where you know when something is an immediate hit or street anthem. None of those songs gave me that. I got the same feeling listening to Pluto and Honest.

its hard to do a sequel to a classic mixtape with a different sound

He didn't even try to go back to the sound. He just used his current sound and commercialized it. Like he couldn't even put Rocko on a track. He wasn't trying to make a sequel to that mixtape. He just wanted classic fans to get on board

I will say that the second half of the tape is pretty solid though :hat

But yeah, not many of these tracks gave me the same feeling I get when I hear certain tracks ike Savages, March Madness, Trap N's, etc. from his 3 previous tapes.

yup, but you cant blame him for trying to bank off his momentum, hes never been this hot in his career

I beg to differ. This is the same exact thing that happened before Pluto released. Future was HUGE. Beyonce had said "Tony Montana" was her favorite song of that year (2011) Beyonce consigning an unknown pretty much at the time. "Turn on the lights" came out and mainstream America turned what was suppose to be an ode to doing drugs and falling for any ******* in the club into some weird love song by T-pain jr. He had to make an album off that buzz...fast forward and **** up some commas is essentially his "Turn on the lights" for this year. No more albums future. Go the Gucci route

Album is lit...I agree though, no songs hotter than March Madness or any of his other current bangers...still gonna be in rotation for a while

Just heard that Drake track. It was a waste of money sound like a throw away if you going to order that Drake stimulus you must produce fire like Meek did with R.I.C.O

im hating for saying its hard to do a sequel to a classic with a different sound?

relax "futurehive"

Im still copping but besides lamekilla being a non Bron hater I usually agree with his opinion got me nervous to listen. I'm not listening til tomorrow anyway but I hope I like it. Ds1 is in my top 10 tapes of all time so I knew he wouldn't really put something Luke that out but I at least want a 56 or monster type joint.

:rollin my son got 43 posts and 36 of them can be found in this thread explaining why Future fell off lmao. I'm pretty sure my man already done ran through this album a good 3 times already since it leaked hours ago :lol you definitely on your job bruh
