Official CAR AUDIO Thread FAQ added

since you're going subless i was gonna suggest a nice 8" midbass in the doors for low end, but that takes alot of planning and fabrication sinceyou'll have to cut up the doors.

2-12" MA Audio subs - 300w rms. Dual 4-ohm; borrowing them from a friend.

Got them hooked up to the Kicker ZX750.1

They're temporary until I save for my 12" Fi Q and custom box.

They beat hard

, and way better than my 2-10" Sony Xplod,

Gotta start somewhere.

I'm just getting 4 ohms out of it right now, beats real hard, and sound better/beats harder than my last system.

Trunk flexes, roof flexes, windows vibrate...

It's good for me.

helluva deal, you basically got almost 1k RMS for 65 bucks

and @ one ohm they would surely blow those poor MA subs

alright, go slow explaining this too me monday...

I just bought a civic coupe to use as a DD. It came with a pioneer (I think, dont remember) headunit, the stock speakers in the door were replaced withaftermarkets ones (Ill tell you the brand tom.) and its connected to a small box but the sound is still crappy if I put up the volume.

What else do I need?

Ok, well I'm sure I'll be able to find one cheap soon as the new '10 models are about to displayed at the CES in a month or so

The MA Audio's are just temporary until I get my 12" Fi SSD or Q, not sure which one I want yet.

My friend's girl had a baby, so don't think she'll be using her 12's anymore, so I asked to borrow them, she said it was cool.

They beat WAY harder than my old system [sony xplod], but I'm gonna install my 480w 2-channel amp on my front speakers and upgrade to this Pioneer deck Ifound n Craigslist for $100.

Budget system with well-known quality products, FTW!

can't knock that.

MA Audio MA12XQ Dual 4-Ohm, 300w RMS.

I might build a custom ported box.

The box they're in now is sealed and takes up my whole trunk.

I have the subs facing into the cabin on my Sentra.

Had them facing the back, but hated the rattling, so I turned the box around and stopped most of rattling.
