Is Def Jam's new marketing scheme to beef with their own artists on social media and play the sympathy card for their artists?

August Alsina mad his album leaked two days before it released? Albums used to leak a week or two, sometimes months before the release date and usually albums stream a week in advance which can be ripped easily. I don't get the outrage or anything, seems fake.

Jeremih drops a dud, album been pushed back like 8 times now. They release it and he's mad at Def Jam. Both of these situations seem real suspect.

No promo, no marketing

If a label gets two platinum singles, they won't care about your album. Put his album out the most cost effective way. Just paid the people that were involved and dropped it.
