i'm surprised these are sitting on Euro sites

The overseas sites want over $220 for them.  That's a lot for Air Max 97s.  I understand the re-release of the OG Silver Bullet getting a lot of hype, but I don't see the same for the gold ones.  People were selling these for the cheap just up until a couple months ago.  Was the 2010 version, but still, nobody wanted them.

but they are mad limited in the United States.  I guess euro sites will get cleared out once everyone strikes out on SNKRS tomorrow

A word to the wise...

Some of these EU sites allow you to just speed thru checkout using PP.  Watch out (unless you have $ to burn).  I've done that a couple times, and didn't pay attention to the exchange rate.  I paid $300 for $200 sneakers once by racing and trying to checkout before they sold out and not taking into account their markup and the exchange rate on it.

I know some of you guys on here are 'Ballers' and don't care

...but to the non-ballers, be aware.

Man, you've really got it in for the Euro sites! One other note when using PayPal is that their default is to apply their own exchange rate. If you have a credit card with no foreign transaction fees, it's much better to use your bank's exchange rate, rather than PayPal's.

Is anyone's footlocker app only showing these being available at 34th st? Before it showed 34th street and Times Square. Was locked in for both but now it's just 34th street. Smh

Didn't realize paypal was givin whack exchange rates.  Paypal's rate was 0.87 euros/dollar.  Current rate is 0.9 euros/dollar which gets you $217...

so why waste money?  when you can just add $30ish dollars to your budget and cop the 97 hassle free right now

i'm just happy i dont have to

a. wake up at 3am est and try to cop

b. skip out of work and line up at DTLR tomorrow (manager told me they got 1 pair per size)

c.  rely on snkrs

Facts you got a good point fam... and I agree... I even saw a couple of sites the rest of the crew posted on here.... but that extra $30-40 isn't what's up to me... I'd rather do something else wit the doe... I've gotten a little older and priorities from kicks kinda shifted lol..... even though the extra real ain't ish... stuck in my ways G

Doubt they run true to size. It's the same shoe with the same materials as the SB's. If you went up .5 on the SB's, I would go the same route for these.
