Man I just got the last sz11 from Ubiq out Georgetown.Smh my Tts is a sz13 or 14 and maybe I can sz swap or something but all the consignment areas aroind here sold out plus I deleted my fb trying to move on from snkrs and the group's but man....Im s.o.l thinking of returning em might bless someone on here if they really wanted em....Im bout to look on Craigslist smh

2013-2014 was a really bad time for me and I wasn't buying any kicks. Would have def copped them then too if I could have. I've loved everything air max since I first laid eyes on the 95s when I was a kid so I'm just grateful I was able to cop a pair now.

I was talking to the employees at champs and some sneakerheads and they think the hype grew a little because of that photo of drake wearing these lol

I remember when these came out in 97 i was in 6/7th grade and they looked over the top. First time ever seeing a full length visible air unit and the price was like the most expensive I had ever seen for a pair of sneakers. They cost more than J's when they first released correct me if I'm wrong.
Every release of the 97's has sat until now. While new world out here.

Had 'em in 97 in college. Had 'em in 2001 or whenever that retro released. Had 'em again in 07/08, whenever exactly that retro dropped. Skipped the last one because I didn't like the modified outsole coloring. Never was remotely difficult to get. I don't think I've ever seen anyone but me rocking these things. Figured they would move quick today, but not that quick. When dude at Footlocker said "sold out" less than two hours after the mall opened, I said, what, already? 

 I too was annoyed that now even this shoe is hyped. But ended up with a pair later in the day so all good. Seems to me the launch locators suckered some of us. Loads of places had 'em, but with hardly any stock. Oops.

A lot of the hype on these is trickled down from Air Max Month. Nike slapped a QS tag on em and People prob thought these would be going for what the og1's and atmos ate going for. I'm seeing a lot of pairs on the secondary market meaning resellers ate these up too. They'll be kicking themselves in a week or 2 when prices stay close under 240

Call some ppl in Houston and Ohio to see if they could find something for me, no luck. Post about being upset striking out on my IG page, my cousin in Moreno Valley Cali hits me up like "yo i'm in the store right now, u need that 11.5?"   today has truly been a good day

Its a different time yall. With the rise of the digital age and social media, there are more people into sneakers more than ever. So it shouldn't be a surprise that sneakers that sat years ago, are selling out today. Everything is much more accessible. You can literally build a collection of kicks just buying online.

Fashion changes with time. When you got your 08s on sale everyone wanted J's. Flash fwd to 17 and it's the opposite. Everyone is into athletic streetwear. The states are trying to be like EU and it sucks because this has been my style forever and I'm stateside.

i meant specifically the blue ones. Im sure alot of people wouldn't feel them because they aren't red silver/gold bullets but i think they're dope.

You know the sneaker celebs and IG ****** gotta post pics to stunt and shame others. I copped these the last retro at the outlets for 50 bucks. Brought the recent AM1 for 40 bucks last time too. Times change. Nike is trying to avoid these retros from going discount stores. They are applying the hype machine of yeezys and ultra boost to their runners and retros to compete with the success of the tubular and ultra boost

Yea Nike making **** limited again to drive hype up. These should be available for $110 at every store in a few months and collect dust on shelves

I got lucky this time and was able to grab a pair at FL but I don't appreciate the limited supply especially when fans can't get a pair. I hope the gold have more available.
