I thought it was damn good considering it’s 40 years since the original, and the 4th movie in the series now.
But my opinions bias, I love all the Beverley hills cops movies.

Checked out the website and they selling "handcrafted" 85 UNCs, breds and black toes for $140? Something ain't right

This dude bought the original molds for the 85s and makes his own pairs using higher quality materials that are more on par to OG 85s. Since the overhead isn’t expensive, he sells them at a lower cost than most customizer and makes them readily available in different OG colorways. A few folks on IG who specialize in and collect 85s have spoken highly of them, but the sneaker community is divided since they aren’t made by Nike.

After checking out Reddit and seeing subreddits with the whole RL/GL process and factory talk, DB comes off as another variant rep situation. They don't seem hand crafted at all.
Whatever happened to the guy that was charging like $700 for his "handcrafted" 85s?

Lol this is what I read and saw posted a few places. I don’t own a pair and can’t offer a fair opinion, but a few folks said they were solid for the price.

To my knowledge, they “make/handcraft” the uppers and use an official Nike/JB sole.
