Man I've been here a long time now fam. Always cool to see where this thread is going and how ppl are doing.

Haha the laser frag era was right before the best era for OG AJ 1s in 2016-2018 IMHO. LOTS of OG cws and resale typically wasn’t too bad right after release.

When done right a sail-colored midsole can look awesome. That said, I totally agree about those weird yellowed midsoles you see on some releases.

Yeah those are honestly disgusting. I like some OW shoes but those are terrible.

I like them alot but agree on the crack midsole, shoudda just left it all cream.

But as is id still cop if I had the chance.

I guess I don’t understand why the cracked midsole/beat up sneaker look resonates with people. Especially because the uppers look pristine with no scuffs, etc. so it just looks very odd.

They resemble unworn pairs that are starting to fall apart. Eventually Nike will just sell replica shoes that dont fall apart but the downside will be they are unwearable so they will just be show pieces which is all they are to half the folks here anyway.

I agree, the shoe is on point but the cracked midsole effed them up. I hate sail midsoles but they work on some shoes, the sail color works very well on those ow 2s. If they had just kept them like that without the cracking then I'd have went after them. JB sure knows how to ruin a good shoe.
