I'm not crazy about the worn out aesthetic but it looks better in person than in pics IMO. What I really love about the Nigels is the leather. It feels good, smells good, they didn't cut any corners. I wasn't expecting that at all.

I don’t know about the Nigels being overrated, but I think they’re super dope. All the details are cool with me, especially since they tell a genuine story of a dude who beats them to hell in his profession as a bike rider. And personally I’ve always thought 1s look great both fresh or beat (to a degree that is). They’re one of my favorite releases of the past few years. As for laces on them IMO...always bet on black!

Its not stiff I used multiple thin layers using angelus leather paint. They have plenty of flex.

Y'know I didnt make the connection but now that you mention it totally looks like it could be. Lol that woulda been a nightmare lol I'd have to paint over the entire shoe.
