I don't think royals will ever decrease in value. I think they will be similar to the banned 1s. There are so few of them around, as the years go bye they will gain value. Think of it as a long term investment haha

I bought 3 pair at roughly $285 each, once things got crazy I was easily able to cover the cost of the pair I kept.

Which leads me to the one thing that confuses me the most about dudes that pass hoping prices come down, if I have the opportunity to buy a shoe at $300 and pass then prices move to $450 and I still pass then its personally game over for me.

Its not that I wouldn't or haven't spent more than $450 on a pair of shoes but I could never let myself live with the fact that I've had 2 opportunities at getting them cheaper and I chose not to.

Ah man, I miss the original Royals thread. Pure chaos in there. I remember so many dudes were passing at the $250-300 range when they first came out, prior to all the GM/fake pairs floating around. I'm not going to lie I was hesitant to cop at those prices. Since I wanted them so bad at the time I ended up paying even though I didn't want to. Looking back now, I'm so glad I did. Still one of my favorite shoes that get worn quite a bit!

That's one of the cleanest AJ 1's I've seen in awhile. I figure even if the sole yellows, maybe it'll look more like a gum sole. Bought a pair. Hope the leather is soft. Thanks for the heads up.
