It's a different viewpoint with what we know as black history vs white America history. Hell black people weren't even in history books until the early to mid 1970s. I was born in 89 it's not so far removed and it's deeper than the police

Just FYI, there are A LOT of beautiful and safe parts in Mexico. Great food. Kind people. Tons of history and culture.

A lot of well off Americans move there in retirement.

Obviously the shady government, shady police, and drug/cartels are an issue. But there's similar issues in many places here in America.
