What is your take on this nako xl ?

Sua Cravens said it best: we never got to see sober head coach Sark before.

Sark can build a program: he had a #1 recruiting class at USC, and in his first year at UW took them to 5-7 after they went 0-12 the year before under Willingham.

Where sark struggles is he plateaus and whenever pressure hit he would fall apart and respond badly. He’s always been a top 5 recruiting head coach and innovator though (he invented blue shirting which everyone copied after.)

He's built enough clout that he can probably go another 5 years winning 8-9 games until his seat gets hot. Problem is that he spoiled the fanbase by winning nattys so eventually they'll want to get back to that.

How much better did Howard look?

Passing wise I don’t think there was much difference. He did look to have better pocket presence and wasn’t afraid to take off and run if need be. Outside of the bad drops he had a pretty good day. The OL looked soft once again. Moronic homers will tell you Akron has a strong DL and that’s why. They’re a 2-10 MAC school, it shouldn’t matter.

It’s also against Akron so take Howard with a grain of salt
