OFFICIAL 2020 STIMULUS CHECK THREAD

I just applied for the EIDL, what else is out there? AND is there a guide or something on the best way to fill it out to give yourself the best chance? I am applying as a gig worker independent contractor or i cou ld say selling on ebay/fb and internet marketing running fb ads to promote products are my small home business

NTers (business owners) that applied for the $10k EIDL or PPP Loan...did anyone receive the additional $9K?

as of now, the 10k is for businesses with 10 employees or more, 1k/employee (include yourself as 1 employee, thats why we get 1k). PPP, is a forgivable loan for businesses if you follow guidelines on their spending, there is/was no 10k.

The argument is that congress passed the bill saying all businesses who were approved for EIDL would get 10k. The SBA, under their own discretion, added the 1k/employee. Congress revisited SBA for not following through with the 10k they had proposed, and a lawsuit has been started by third-party businesses for the full 10k.

If you're hoping for a quick 9k-additional, congress doesn't work fast, and the courts don't work fast either, don't hold your breath.

thanks. with $10k I can buy equipment for my construction business. not worth the time & risk for a measly $1k.

The 1-10k is the grant portion. They'll offer you a loan based on tax return/revenues that you can accept decline that is 3.75%/30years

I remember seeing construction equipment covered for either EIDL or PPP. I encourage you to get your free $ if you're eligible. Guys in here getting free $ and aren't even eligible :lol:

Dont know If you still can apply, or if you already have, but it'd be a good idea to try (literally takes 20 minutes at most). If this SBA debacle plays out to where everyone gets the 10k, you'd get it too and depending on you're type of business gains and losses during covid they offer multiple loan programs Some I've heard up to 150k with payments deferred for a year, and everyone I know of that took a loan is at 3.75% interest. Just be careful do you're research and keep you're books in order if you take a loan they'll want to see all of it. Also they will do a hard pull on you're credit I've been told.

They probably went on vacation. Wouldn’t surprise me if there isn’t any progress until after Labor Day.

If this gets into Sept, they are gonna have to set their own budget to avoid a shutdown. Imagine them working on this and stimulus at the same time.
:lol: :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::smh::smh::stoneface:

Clearly they are crashing this MF and max out the country's credit card.

So is the $400 thing legit? Any states opted in or getting it?
