OFFICIAL 2020 STIMULUS CHECK THREAD

Idk why we're still having this convo when the Dems ****ing COMPROMISED.

And anything that passed would have given TRUMP a boost. This **** is stupid

That is the head scratching part. If Trump would agree to the Dems bill, it would be a massive political win for him.

Even Tom Cotton is telling Republicans they need to be willing to spend on bailout and stimulus because that would strengthen their electoral chances.

And dudes think that Dems begging Trump to do the smart thing for his own political chances is somehow a ploy to make him look bad.

Bruh, I can't :lol

I feel like he's at a point where he's starting to realize how brainwashed his followers are and knows he doesn't have to do **** to help them for them to vote for him.

He could come out tomorrow and say "I am going to put an Executive Order in place for every American to get a $5000 check!" knowing damn well he can't get that approved and when it's November and nobody even got $5 from the government they'll be like "Well he TRIED. Not his fault the dems wouldn't approve it in the Senate!"

Heads up, the payroll tax goes into effect this week. I’m not spending a dollar of that since they’re taking it back in 2021
Brah I am saving every penny of that. I advise others that can to do the same.

Trump has to forgive the tax liability at year's end. If mans loses, after all that cheating, and they make him leave, mans might give the country one last **** you on the way out.

Nasdaq went to hell today. The Dow got beat tf down. This helps stimulus ALOT as their aint **** they can look at that look sweet. Applies pressure. Unemployment report come out tomrw. **** bois back in session next week so they need to get they asses together.

We in the 4th qtr now. Do or die.

It's interesting how plainly obvious it is that the stimulus would benefit Trump politically and yet he still won't do it. As if he knows he doesn't need votes to win the election

CEO said there will be interest applied to it also.
Company not participating in it either

Absolutely. That would aid a lot of people that were finally getting a handle on their finances. This country could be so much better if they actually cared about the citizens and their well-being

I can attest to that. I was damn near about to overdraft my account until unemployment kicked in and not only did I get my bank account healthy again, I paid off a few debts in full with one shot. I came out lovely. Aside from the M&n pick ups I didn’t really spend much.

Just read that Michigan will start processing the 300 extra next week. Retroactive to August 1st...but only 3 weeks worth of payments lol, so 900 bucks.
Not even a bandaid. Just pouring some room temperature water on an open wound.

Give us an updated article
Not one 3 weeks old

Fyi:
Since negotiations have stalled, the content analysis of article is still the most relevant issues. Reps are being Scrooge and Dems are delusional free spenders. No real news yet till everyone comes back.

freeze freeze

You seem angry, take up a chair by RustyShackleford RustyShackleford and yall can yell at the Republicans together. We will pretend like Nancy and Chuck didnt have the opportunity to extend the 600 in a standalone bill presented by Meadows and Mnuchin. Will also pretend like they were willing to keep negotiating after they said "were done negotiating if they dont wanna meet us at 2 trillion"

We could have prioritized things and got to work but nah. All or nothing cuz New York and California need a quarter billion for budget balancing.

In all seriousness though they fumbled this from the jump. No hazard pay on the horizon. Even if they did cut another stimulus 2400 in 6 months is a laugher. Many countries did 2k a month thru this ordeal. We took 600000000000 and give it to rich people...

I thought the WH and IRS plan is voluntary for employers...have your employers sent a notification stating that they’re electing to participate?

Our organization sent out a notification that they’re not deferring our payroll taxes.

Might want to reach out to your payroll department.
