Mia really don't have anything they can do at this point w/o Bam & Goran, they gotta just go out & give it their best but they are 1000% outmatched.

So if you're Miami, what's your strategy? I don't think "we have to play perfect" is a feasible option here.
I think you have to gamble on something. You're not going to trick Lebron, but you could frustrate AD, provoke Dwight or Morris, or decide to do something like gun from Dame/Steph range and try to fly to the loose balls.
you’re just giving harden another excuseIn that Lakers series in particular they were trapping him 35 feet out, giving the other 4 Rockets on the floor a 4 on 3 advantage. 2 defenders on the ball is what you want on every possession offensively.
Harden isn’t supposed to factor back in unless the help recovers, which it isn’t supposed to
That’s on D’Antoni and the other 4 players having a low IQ. Nobody in the dunker, nobody cutting behind the trapper.
Harden certainly could’ve attacked the rim & the trap more often, but if his teammates can’t capitalize on a 4 on 3, 3 on 2, they had no chance anyway.
Like, the Heat wouldn’t be able to just send KCPs man to trap LeBron at halfcourt all game.
Hopefully he's just been busy counting other NT'ers money
Absolutely fair. Imo he also wasn’t doing enough to sense the doubles coming nor being proactive in avoiding themIn that Lakers series in particular they were trapping him 35 feet out, giving the other 4 Rockets on the floor a 4 on 3 advantage. 2 defenders on the ball is what you want on every possession offensively.

The downside of acquiring a bunch of specialistsIn that Lakers series in particular they were trapping him 35 feet out, giving the other 4 Rockets on the floor a 4 on 3 advantage. 2 defenders on the ball is what you want on every possession offensively.
