I'm tired of these bucks Cavs comparisons..before 2014 LeBron never had a decent Cavs squad..if LeBron had the current bucks squad he's still going to the NBA finals
Talent pool in the NBA is far greater now than it was back then to be fair.
I agree though, Giannis’s supporting cast isn’t absolute trash.

I'll agree that Giannis is in an infinitely better situation than LeBron was in Cleveland the first time around. Giannis actually has a competent coach (most of the time anyway) and a good general manager. The cavaliers were complete mess around LeBron and they had no idea what to do. LeBron had to leave that situation in order to a championship, I don't think Giannis needs to leave Milwaukee to win.

Rockets are done. Game 1 was a fluke. Harden getting traded to Detroit this offseason

The Rockets issues aren't with James Harden though. It's coaching, offensive scheme and the roster fit. I don't know why the Rockets have been trying to pair Harden with another guard when he needs to play with a good wing or big man.

This isocentric offense doesn't work in the playoffs. Maybe they should try running a more traditional system

While we’re on the topic... how would Giannis in Toronto even work?
He and Siakam don’t seem like they’d mesh well together

Two players who can't shoot 3's and possess a limited postgame. It's imperative that they work on their games during the offseason.

Here ya'll go rewriting history with those Bron Cleveland teams again.... acting like he took G league dudes to the Finals  . His team was mid in the same way that Giannis team is mid, dudes go back to basketball reference look at the stats and wipe away all context because the names don't pop off the screen. He had an above average team built around him, not high level but nowhere near as bad as ya'll try to make it seem.

Wings aren't easy to come by. Teams don't want to give them up.

Who would you consider to be a good big man? Embiid or AD? How you getting them to Houston?

Harden is in year 10? and has been playing this bastardized numbers focused basketball for 5 years..... at this point he isn't going to change. In order for him to be most effective they have to keep this same format up.

I don't know how far people expect a team led by a guy who has no semblance of a mid range game, refuses to move w/o the ball, & is average defensively on his best day, to lead you to a championship.

Trading harden for picks is the only way for them to rebuild. Otherwise they'll just be a lotto team without a lotto pick

He did lol..Larry Hughes in his prime isn't better than Khris Middleton

For real though, what's going on with Daniel House? Is he okay? He's not injured and his team really needs him. He didn't leave the bubble but missed the game for personal reasons, did he have family stuff he needed to handle during the game? Will he be playing in game 4?

Right. I don't fault Houston for what they're trying to do construction wise. A team full of long rangy switchable guys.

But because Russ and Harden and Gordon make so much money, they're forced to take chances on Carrol, Rivers, McLemore, Green, House, etc. Gerald Green, shumpert, etc. Wings who can play both are expensive. Feel like Houston's guys are incredibly one dimensional and can't do anything off of harden passes except shoot if they're open and if they aren't open they have to pass it backwards towards harden who's languishing at half court.

Could also mitigate this a bit by moving Harden around a bit, but I digress.

House, Rivers, Ben Mac, Roco, Tucker, House, Green, all really can't do anything if they aren't open.

they had a big man w/ DH and capela was almost an all star there
theyve also had decent wings, iso joe, trevor ariza, gerald green, shump

whoever ends up coaching will cater to harden no matter what.
bringing in westbrook didnt even change that
