That was one of the worst 4th quarters I’ve seen

All HOU best lineups have Harden. All of the Lakers best lineups have Bron. 4th quarter starts, Bron is in, Harden isn’t. Russ turns it over on the first possession, Lakers quickly go up 4, MDA burns a TO to get Harden back in  just start the quarter with the right lineup coach.

two good possessions the entire quarter before garbage time. Everyone got tight, just a series of bad decisions. They were having success with Harden getting a screen at halfcourt and just charging to the rim:

Amazing help from Bron there but Harden would either finish or draw a foul there most times.

They didn’t go to that enough. Or you can have Russ set the screen, Cov in the dunker spot, EJ & Tuck in the corners. They trap Harden, Russ plays downhill 3 on 2 and probably lobs to Cov. Or put Russ in the dunker, EJ on the screen, Cov/Tuck in the corners, same thing. Basically what GSW did with Steph & Dray

Or overload the weak side like they did on 1 of their 2 good 4th qtr possessions, most times that’s a corner 3 or a layup

If they insist on the isos Harden has to attack the trap once in a while. driving away from the 2nd man

LA didn’t change anything & Houston said they broke the film down before the game  They find something that works & go away from it, which is the exact opposite of what LeBron does

Kuzma is a career 16 ppg scorer  & somehow people keep bringing up games where he scores 10-15 as if it's some kind of anomaly that isn't sustainable. Rondo scoring 21 a game isn't sustainable..... but him being a positive player in the postseason is a proven fact. So that leaves us with one of Green/Morris/AC/KCP/Dion having to have a good game for our bench to play well.

This narrative that the Lakers rotation outside of Bron & AD are trash has been played up to extremes. You don't maintain the #1 seed in the West the entire year with a top 5 net rating by simply having two stars dominate (especially considering Bron notoriously paces himself in the regular season).

Our bench has been playing well all postseason, so well that Lebron & AD are ranked 35 & 40 respectively in MPG for the playoffs with both coming in under 35 mpg.
