Shouts to Kuzma for adjusting on the fly like he has this season, could have took his diminished role on offense & sulked..... instead he's upped his defense significantly & has been great cutting to the basket & finding ways to get easy buckets.

Houston didn't have the math advantage on three pointers. They're going to have to shoot more & live with the results.

Game plan was to stay on the shooters, even if Westbrook/Harden had wide open lanes for layups. Limiting the Rockets to 30 three point attempts is impressive and shocking.

Yea', with Javale and Dwight out of the frame defensively, Rockets have to embrace a full-on shoot-out; one of the advantages they still have left

I totally agree. The Rockets shot 40% from 3, Russell Westbrook had 30 on 50% shooting, and Harden had a very efficient game and the Lakers still won. They're only hope is to shoot 55-60 threes hit 25 of them and win the three-point battle by 30+ points

this. the lakers defense was basically perfect. send doubles at harden and fly around the perimeter long enough to run shooters off the line. it gets tough for covington/tucker/gordon who aren't great off the bounce if you push them off their spot and make them playmakers. houston beat it game 1 by taking the floaters available and getting to the rim more. hats off to the lakers defense.

this is demonstrably false. the rockets won winning the 3 point battle by 9 points in game 1 and won by 15 because the lakers got nothing from their role players. there's the difference. AD and Bron are going to get theirs, but if the bench steps up, it's curtains. the lakers got 39 from kuzma/morris/rondo in game 2 and 35 from rondo/kuzma in game 3. Lebron and Harden are playing close to a wash. AD is outperforming Russ, and the lakers role players have been stellar these past 2 games.
