You don’t think Kirby wanted the pound it out hard nose offense you guys had?
The Running identity will always be a UGA thing so will the RBU label but yes I do think he wanted to open things up more in our offense that was one of the main reasons he let chaney go

I meant to say new offensive line coach. I'm confident in our team next season but I'm also realistic. Alot of inexperienced (and very talented) players on offensive and we're gonna be running a whole new system.

I still see us going 11-1 (loss @ Bama), being top 5, winning the division and playing for a playoff spot in the SECCG.

I think Kirby wants to pound it. I think Nick Saban still wants to pound it. Like Saban, Kirby has come to the realization (probably a year or two too late) that you can't just run the ball and play just enough offense to win nowadays. You need a dynamic offense and I'm happy to see us bring in a guy with air-raid experience to help us usher in a new era.
The bama game is going to be our season defining game imo and this is where I believe kirby will show where he has learned from his mistakes and we finally take bama out and it will solely be based on the play of those "inexperienced" but talented players that you were speaking of.

Kirby absolutely wanted to play the style that y’all were playing.
I beg to differ only because of our history of like I mentioned earlier of being labeled RBU. He is a defensive minded coach and knows what's required thats one of the main reasons we started looking at DT QBs

Lol yes, UGA has this longstanding history of being called RBU. How could I forget? All of the SEC teams were run heavy until recently.

Pretty brutal. Emmert tries to give the usual canned NCAA talking points and the committee came after him pretty hard. Even though the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit ended 5 years ago and the multiple states have passed Pay for Play legislation over the last several months, the NCAA still hasn't provided a solid way ahead. Their plan seems to be just stalling indefinitely and hoping it goes away.

Discussion around the PAC12 falling behind in the arms race the last few days is pretty interesting.

This, and now 2 Ohio D-player getting charge of rape. What is going on this offseason.

There's no good college football news for most teams between mid February and July. Just arrests and transfers.

On a side note, Tebow is still tryna play baseball?

Exactly...The media doesn't care about the community service these young men and women are doing or their GPA for the semester but rather how they ****** up
