The road to disappointment, agony and despair (and 46 wins) for that circus in LA begins today :pimp:. Lillard going for 40.

**** Bron #ALA :pimp:

Thats what I'm wondering. If you can use the GLeague to bypass the draft and play for any team then it more than makes up for missing out on all the extra curriculars you get as a college star.

Play in the GLeague for 5 months so you can spend the next 5 years of your career in NY or LA as opposed to Cleveland is a great trade

I guess, yeah.

But what caliber of player is this kid?

If he's a blue chip talent going to Duke or Kentucky is still more appealing/the smarter move because if he goes the $125k Southbay Lakers route, the Lakers are under very little financial pressure/obligation to treat this kid like a lottery pick in terms of giving him opportunity and playing time unless he shows that he can really play very early on.

And like Woj said earlier, if he goes to an elite college program, he's gonna get paid anyway, right?

Everybody has to go through the draft no matter what route you take...u spend your one year outta high school in the G league then you in the draft the next year, they got details in that article posted a few pages back

Theres prospects every year who go down in the draft due to bad play and production.

Lets say prospect Ty Craine is projected top 10 he signs with the RGV. The rockets are picking in the 18-24 range. The management of Houston tells RGV to bench Ty Craine so he can slide. Whats stopping that from happening?

Dunn is out today due to personal reasons. Cam Payne will replace him in the starting lineup. Now it's one thing to have Fultz play a team like the Celtics at their home court, it's another to matchup against Payne and Lavine at home.

Let's see how comfortable he is against what can possibly be the worst defensive backcourt in the league.

If this is really the case, then a team can potentially sign their "prized" G league talent AND get a high draft pick.

There has to be restrictions to this.

The other teams scouting him, n already planning to take him in that range wouldnt care much tbh ...less mileage on the prospect

You can’t prevent this but if Ty craine in 16 mpg shows you everything you want to see from him, his stock should prevail. They’ve been scouting him since he was probably 16 and have been watching him over the summer and in practice.

It’s like jermaine O’Neals story. He was being benched to keep his value low. So what he did was he made sure he went all out in shoot arounds when to show his ability. Indiana saw it and cashed him out.

You’re value is in the hands of your coach in college too. Bill self was playing Embiid 20 mpg in college.

Make him look ugly like make him a pf like marvin Bagley play the two. Bill Self out here tanking draft prospect by incompetence. What more if teams actually try to do it on purpose.

Separate G league draft for G league prospects and their rights are held by the parent NBA team. Similar to other leagues.

Top prospects are able to shine and the NBA team has them. Bad teams still get the “better” prospects through the draft process.

Even though this makes sense to a certain extent. It's still a clear conflict of interest between the player, the G League team and the NBA draft.

Do people really think Lakers are gonna be any good? Hopefully it’s just their fans being homers because I think LeBron is gonna start fading out west.

Roster is just a jumbled up mess with a lack of spacing. McGee, Lance, and Rondo are three of the biggest headcases out there. Then let’s sprinkle some Lavar craziness on top every so often. LeBron will be tested this season mentally.

N probly the best part that ppl are missing bout not having to go to college is the ENDORSEMENTS from jump :pimp:

Anthony Davis to LAKERS is now dead?

Unibrow isn’t going anywhere until he demands a trade and I doubt he does that anytime soon.
