Portland always been a good team capable of winning 50+ games each season but they ain’t going far in the playoffs... need to move on from CJ/Dame duo.

Would’ve tested the waters on the roster 2-12 after the Pelicans treated Dame like he was MJ, let everyone else go 1 on 1 and nobody could do anything. They’ve only advanced once since LMA left and that was against the clippers missing both Blake and cp.

PG, Jimmy, any big name ends up on the trading block and I offer anyone not named Dame.

He really didn’t. Melo didn’t like the feeling of coming off the bench and thought he was actually still a all star player. He had his chance in nyc and he blew it. He had his chance in okc he wasted everyone’s time.

Now he’s in Houston and everyone is giving him sympathy.

The man didn’t do anything, cause he hasn’t done anything to prove to himself he’s able play the game at high-level.

It never ends pretty. NBA careers don't end in some fabulous send off. Often it ends abruptly, due to injury, discontent, etc.

And before you know it you're Ewing on the Sonics, AI on the grizzlies, Hakeem in Toronto, Jordan in Philly, or Kobe after the Achilles.

Listen, nobody hates Thibs more than this guy, but hard to imagine at that point in time not pulling the trigger on Butler + a first round pick, for a mid 20 year old rookie who looked terrible (Dunn) and Lavine coming off of a knee injury.

Now where I will agree with you is on the fit, Thibs should be fired based on the fact alone that he knew Butler wouldn't mesh with these young guys AT ALL, Thibs should have known because EVERY Bulls fan in here knew.

To me the one constant is Thibs, you almost HAVE to fire him because of how he treated this entire thing. I also won't pretend to know anything about the guys coming over, but let me tell you, it cannot get worse than the basketball I have seen the past few weeks. Reminded me of the Al Jefferson era.

With modern medicine, knees are repairable. Lavine showed GREAT promise from jump. And, he’s a different kind of athlete so, that’s an excuse.

You trade Dunn... but keep Tyus Jones? C’mon bro. Thibs knew Jimmy’s personality already. He chose to take the risk and it failed.

They messed up a great young nucleus because of impatience and win-now attitude, although they didn’t even have a win-now caliber team. This is ALL on Minny.

I would say NYK didn’t manage to get players properly cause they practically gave melo the whole entire salary cap on his tenure thier. Poor miss management of money and not getting the right talent was demise of the nyk franchise.

Melo caught the bag, but thats it.
