I’m cool on Mirotic and a late 1st rounder.
I think y’all just wanted to see Jimmy in N.O.

Dude talking about how the NBA is built to turn you broke. Hate when people who got no money blame everyone but themselves. He just never grew up or never had anyone help him grow up.
this.

dude made $19 mil in his career. even after tax, agent fees and whatnot, any sensible individual could invest and save in a couple of mil.

Hell nah jimmy would ruin ad. Philly I could see their need to be desparete because they wouldn’t have anyone better to spend their cap space on

Mirotic would have offered minny a serviceable starter and the first rounder would be nice

Cov and saric are good place holders don’t get me wrong, I just question the upside and ceiling to those moves

I’m really crion at how bad Minnesota messed themselves over.

You decide to trade Lavine (who is now looking like they wanted Wiggins to look) for a guy that made your 2 youngsters question their manhood. Basically had a year of regression from KAT in the process. Only to trade Jimmy for 2 high level role players who thibs wont know how to utilize. On top of all that, got Wiggins locked in forever when he looks to be nowhere near the player they want him to become.

All it took was some patience and they could’ve kept Lavine around.
Listen, nobody hates Thibs more than this guy, but hard to imagine at that point in time not pulling the trigger on Butler + a first round pick, for a mid 20 year old rookie who looked terrible (Dunn) and Lavine coming off of a knee injury.

Now where I will agree with you is on the fit, Thibs should be fired based on the fact alone that he knew Butler wouldn't mesh with these young guys AT ALL, Thibs should have known because EVERY Bulls fan in here knew.

To me the one constant is Thibs, you almost HAVE to fire him because of how he treated this entire thing. I also won't pretend to know anything about the guys coming over, but let me tell you, it cannot get worse than the basketball I have seen the past few weeks. Reminded me of the Al Jefferson era.

Can’t help but think how sad these future HOFers exits from the NBA are - Melo, AI, VC, Pierce and Tmac all flabby and sick journeyman . No farewell tour no love just faded away into Bolivian

I mean, who wouldn't take Dipo over Butler when he's a younger, less controversial version of Jimmy? :lol

Hopefully this week ends with Melo in a Lakers jersey...that would be for the best for everyone :pimp:

It never ends pretty. NBA careers don't end in some fabulous send off. Often it ends abruptly, due to injury, discontent, etc.

And before you know it you're Ewing on the Sonics, AI on the grizzlies, Hakeem in Toronto, Jordan in Washington, or Kobe after the Achilles.

Melo was never the athlete that is Vince Carter. Melo is more Paul Pierce. Carter’s athleticism extended his career
Even comparing him to Pierce, Pierce was swinging playoff series at 37. He showed much more craft than Melo as he aged.

I expected Melo’s game to age better. Even now, they’re asking him to do stuff that he should still be able to do.

I’m going to need yall to stop slandering Wizards MJ.

He wasn’t Money but Mike was giving folks 20 a night at age 40 with no knees and athleticism

He wasn't superstar status anymore but he was wild effective for his role, basically Detroit Rip Hamilton.
