This gonna be good.

Dirk won MVP. Paul Pierce has never been a top 5 player in the league.

Pierce has been to two finals in the East and is 1-1. The year Dirk lost in the Finals his second best player was Josh Howard.

Pierce wasn’t the best player on his lone championship team, KG was. Dirk won with the least talented championship team of the modern era.

Two primary scorers. Dirk is sixth on the all time scoring list, less than 1k from MJ. Pierce is 15th more than 5k away from Dirk.

Dirk has 12 (12!) all NBA selections. Pierce has 4.

Those are just some of so so many reasons why the two players are not in the same ballpark.

Idk what SneakerPro is talking about with Luka being better than Nash or Finley though that’s just homer talk.

Pierce. Without a doubt.

You sure with this statement, because Pierce played 3 more season than Melo. Melo averaged more points, the only thing Pierce really has over Melo is a ring and more playoff appearances.

Oh Melo also has 3 gold medals.

Well Pierce played more seasons than Melo because Melo literally got cut from the league,
not because he retired early . For one.

He was also a ball-stopping loser which Pierce was not. Pierce was a good teammate and was able to play within an offense. He cared about winning and actually did win.

You can say that, But Melo never really had nobody. Pierce had KG, Rondo and Jesus Shuttlesworth. Who Melo have? Amare Stoudamire on his decline, JR Smith? C'mon

But wasn't Malone talking about how they weren't scared of any team?
This was said at the beginning of February. He's come to his senses since then

If you can avoid Houston and GSW for the first two rounds, you'd be an idiot to not do anything possible to make that happen

Criticizing Denver for strategically trying to make this happen doesn't make sense

The BBB brand thing is disappointing. I was hoping for success for that brand, simply because of the family dynamics involved. Hopefully another group comes along with a similar concept, then blows it all up in the right way. Self ownership is the way to go.

Nah I’d agree it was KG. Pierce was our number 1 option on offense and go-to guy when we needed a bucket but KG’s impact on the defensive end and his overall leadership was more important imo
I was under the impression it was pierce but saying KG makes sense. I get it now.
