The only time he dragged bums to the finals was 2007 and last year.

2015-2017 were championship caliber teams. Even though nothing mattered in 2017 with KD joining warriors.
He played with bums IN the 2015 finals, given the injuries to Kyrie and Love. The 2016 and 17 Cavs teams were great though.

There are only a few people in this thread that 1) saw this coming and 2) have given opinions based on what is actually happening. Some of y'all Bron fans are in here fronting like you weren't talking about Bron is gonna take them to the offs. Like y'all weren't in here trolling the Lakers fans who said they didn't want Bron LAST SEASON. Shut up. Just like SOME Laker fans are highly hypocritical...so are y'all. Acting like you didn't want Bron to flourish so you could bring up Kobe and how "bad' he is. Clowns all over this thread. How about, talk about LEBRON JAMES and what he said. None of this other trash.

(yes I've had it:frown::lol::smh:)

Can we also kill this narrative of LeBron “dragging bums to the finals” in this “8 straight finals talk?

Outside of 2007....since he’s been to the finals (2010-2018)....his teams have been the favorite to be there. Large part because of him...but also because he played in a historically weak Eastern Conference...and his team was the one with multiple hall of famers in their primes...and handpicked role players tailored to fit his style.

That’s the reality. It’s impressive. But the tale of it is getting larger and larger by the day. The “he dragged bums to the finals talk” really has people forgetting what it actually was in real time.
LeBron dragged bums to the finals up hill 20 miles both ways, barefoot in the snow.

I remember when the Lakers were in 5th or 6th place, I said I'd rather tank this season than sign Lebron if I'm a Lakers fan and some random Lakers fans in here came at my neck, saying I was stupid

Magic trades him or Kuz to appease court jester James, I'm done.

These stats are definition of ******* useless. You can find anything about any player using “first player doing arbitrary random x”. Laker fans pathetic

Facts and those two years are the only time people were saying he dragged bums to the finals. Nobody was saying that in Miami or with Kyrie and Love.

Kevin Love isn’t a bum
Kyle Korver isn’t a bum
Jr Smith isn’t a bum
Tristan Thompson isn’t a bum
George Hill isn’t a bum
Rodney Hood isn’t a bum

Again...remember to start the 2017-2018 season...Bron assembled a roster to HIS liking that went 17-2 playing an incredibly weak East Schedule from November to Christmas 2017. At that time...people were talking about this being the best roster LeBron was on. And “wait until IT comes back).

That team proceeded to struggle from Late December to the trade deadline...and Bron flipped all the guys he lauded (even trading his best nba buddy)...for “young guys” who were at the time, seen as athletic guys that could help him where he lacked defensively and in transition. When they too struggled to fit around his style of play that didn’t maximize their talents...and could be beaten by team basketball....they became known as “bums”. These are productive, rotational nba players in the right situation. How can he “make everyone better”, yet these guys remain “bums”? That doesn’t compute.

What happened next is he led this team over a Pacers squad that had no business taking a favored Cleveland squad to 7. He then showed out against an annually disappointing raptors team...and beat a Celtics team with Babies and Al Horford in a 7 game series to get to the finals.

2/3 series had no business going 7 games. Then he was soundly swept.

If you understood the context of last year and how the bar kept getting lowered...and he kept getting praised for doing what he was supposed to do....none of this madness in LA would be a surprise.

The Western Conference is a different beast.

He was up 2-1 with those bums. They had the size advantage Tristan and mozgov were eating while Delly was containing Steph. But he already had is excuse with Kyrie and love being out so hehe opt for hero ball/stat padding instead of stick with what was working. That's why once they made that adjustment with Iggy it was a wrap. Bron too predictable. They could have won that series but they stopped going with what was working.

Literally all of those players are bums except Kevin love. Do better.

People and their Lebronism ....

Always giving props for **** he is suppose to do ...

Well Lebron is the greatest because he has never cheated on his wife.

Well Lebron is the greatest because he is a family man and he has been there for his kids.

And so on .....

Like word, that's all it takes???

LeBron really got dicked with some bad fortune in Cleveland. The injuries to love and Kyrie in 2015 and KD doing the absolute unthinkable in 2017. In hindsight he had a squad that had the potential to 3-peat. 2016 is still worth settling for but the team was good enough to do more if it weren’t for flukes.

But like I said earlier in the week every goat required good fortune.
