This, the think positive mindset in me feels this way. However the realist in me feels this is over despite them having a small chance.
The pitching has been good enough to win all 4 games imo. Even tonight where they gave up 4 runs, scoring 5 isn't an unreasonable task. The pitching efforts they got in games 1 and 2 should've been good enough to at least get them a split in that situation most of the time.
1 game at a time and hopefully Grienke can pitch the game of his life tomorrow. If it gets to 3-2, the cardinals are the team who blew a 3-1 lead in one sided fashion last season so perhaps those thoughts start sinking in for them especially with Kershaw pitching a potential game 6.
1 game at a time though. They've lost 3 games by a combined 4 runs. If the bats even slightly wake up, there's a chance. If they don't, then they probably lose tomorrow 2-1 in a game they would normally win with any type of reasonable offensive production.
Anyone going tomorrow. I copped some all you can eat seats for $20 each right after tonight's game ended. Unlike 08 and 09 against Philly where I felt there was no chance after being down 3-1. Especially 09, I feel like they have a better chance at extending this then in those years if the bats can even slightly wake up. Hopefully tomorrows not the last game of the season. They play in 13 hours so hopefully they get over tonight quick and come ready to play tomorrow.

There's no way this team can come back from this 3-1 deficit.
Even when kersh & grienk are on it this offense doesnt have enough to get the W.
Donnie doesnt make adjustments, he lets bums like Michael Young continue to PH.
Has he put on any hit & runs or anything?
This team feeds off Puig and Hanley and with Hanley injured they cant continue to depend on the rookie.

This team feeds off Hanley and Gonzo, appreciate Puig, but dude gets way more credit than what he deserves.

St.Louis may be up 3-1 but they have some pressure as well. They don't want to be the first team to blow 3-1 leads in back to back years.
These night to day games work in LA's favor as they don't have time to let the loss last night soak in. Win today, and go to St. Louis confident in game 6 with the best pitcher in the world pitching.
