Fun fact Nick Saban is winless in his coaching career vs 9 win or more Auburn teams...Tigers are 9-2 heading into Saturday's Iron Bowl.

Nick Saban only has one undefeated season in his entire career as a head coach on any level.

History and current performance tells us Alabama is going to lose 1 of the next 3 games.

It don’t matter anyway because South Carolina is gonna beat Clemson then they’ll win the ACC

Then Auburn will beat Bama and lose to UGA in the SEC title game who just lost to GA Tech

All the while Oklahoma loses to TCU/ISU

And Notre Dame ends it’s football program on their off week

:pimp:

Should Auburn lose to Alabama Saturday, there is growing buzz within the profession that Gus might “reset his clock” by taking the Arkansas job. Arkansas closes out their season Friday vs Missouri, following which it is widely expected the University will let Bret Bielema go.

The logic among coaches we’ve spoken states that Gus would be to give himself a fresh 5-year deal with a total contract value likely in the $30 million range (and quite possibly larger)… and that’s before incentives. The Arkansas fan base is more tame than Auburn’s, there is no 365-day-a-year comparison with Alabama, they would be welcoming him back to a state where he has had great success, and he would have a voice in choosing Jeff Long’s replacement as athletics director.

Many in the profession view this is a no-brainer move for him.

We’re told that Auburn is doing some diligence, preparing for the possibility of Malzahn’s departure, and multiple sources in the profession have relayed that Auburn seems to kicking the tires on Bobby Petrino as a backup plan.

Would Bobby Petrino be willing to make a move after his guy, Tom Jurich just got shown the door? Do we really have to answer that question?

For those wondering, Tom Jurich being let go had the effect of reducing Bobby’s buyout from $8.5 million to $4.25 million. Healthy; but not insurmountable for an SEC heavyweight.

Sounds like no one knows what the hell is going on at Tennessee basically.

True but I dont think Michigan has ever worn anything but maize or black cleats

 Those mother ****ers have known since Auburn kicked their teeth in they were toast.

The AD basically said 8-4 was going to get you fired last summer. You already knew what was coming.

But Feldman has always been a spin master mouthpiece for Sumlin, so that article isn't surprising.

Michigans color scheme is not good for shoes... For me at least

Agreed.

The various Jordans in their colorways don't look good at all.

It can work, but for most of them you just can’t make the primary colors of the shoe the maize & blue, has to be white w/ the other colors as accents

Fax.

Everyone knew he was on the hot seat and no one is arguing that he shouldn't have been fired; regardless, that's a really crappy way to treat your employees. The coaching community is small and they notice the way ADs and school administrators treat their coaching staffs. If you think this doesn't reflects poorly on TAMU, you're delusional.

Did he really tell them both he needs a few weeks to decide? Get the **** over yourself chip :lol

Get outta here with that nonsense.

A news article and reporters speculating a staff will be fired reflects poorly on A&M? "Texas A&M Plans to Fire Kevin Sumlin after LSU Game" EVERYBODY KNEW THAT ALREADY. It's been common knowledge since basically the UCLA game. Sumlin's personally been looking for a soft landing space for months now.

Scott Woodward said in July that another 8-4 season wasn't good enough. 1-11 against LSU and Bama isn't good enough. Not winning an SEC West home game over three seasons isn't good enough.

Is the athletic department supposed to come out right now and say no decision has been made? Should they have told Sumlin and staff already they were dead men walking?

It literally couldn't be more irrelevant. This **** shouldn't be a surprise and for them to whine in the media about being mistreated or misled is hysterical. Like... This **** is almost exactly why Sumlin and his staff are a group of losers. They're tone deaf and blame everything around them for their inability to succeed.

Well why not just fire him now and save themselves the national embarrassment in case A&M does beat LSU?
