Spot on assessment. I live here so I see how powerful he is firsthand. And when I said he doesn’t want to endanger what he’s built, it’s a two fold thing. On one hand, you say some slick **** that comes off as pro-Trump and you may turn some recruits off. On the other hand, say some blatant anti-Trump **** and you risk having the hillbillies with pitchforks at your taxpayer-funded mansion door.
He walks the tightrope very well, IMO. Football is the south has such a strange dynamic when it comes to race. Cats waving confederate flags cheering on black players every weekend.

Really. I lived there 8 years, Houston 9, almost, 10, Central FL 18, Panama City 2, and San Diego 2.5, so I’ve been a few places.
It’s never going to be a metropolis, but it’s not a bad place to live IMO.
