But when you get on that level, you can specialize obviously.. Like ruta meilutyte only does the 100 and Atkinson from Jamaica too, they'll do the 200 but they just aren't that good at it.. Or even look at lily King.. All would be better off with a 50 rather than a 200





Some butterflyers will opt to do the 100 free over the 200 fly.. Or you got someone like Matt grevers on the 100 back who wasn't that good at the 200 back, so went with the 100 free as a 2nd event
