power play? Nah I don't think so. He failed the Houston physical. The Nets, who were supposedly okay with his back, gave him a contract with a bunch of team options to waive him with no penalty. He's about to get peanuts. Only hope is that he signs a short deal, proves he's good and signs a good contract this off season.

He didn't fail the physical, he never showed up. Plus it was reported that he passed the Nets physical.

It seems like it was never about just playing for the Nets but him being able to go wherever he wants without the Rockets having the RFA trump card getting in the way. And he, his agent or both got up out of that.
