I think he has it in him already. He's pretty demonstrative on the floor.

I was about to say,

He plays his best when the competition is best too, son went against the GOAT of the generation and smashed him before his 22nd birthday.

His mentality shouldn't be questioned at this point.

The numbers teams release for attendance can be a general guide but yes as others have mentioned it's often not even close. I never knew but teams are allowed to count basically whomever they want - and they do. Front office people watching the game, cheerleaders, ball boys, anything. I worked for a certain team and they counted even media members sitting in the press box. Then threw in an extra couple hundred....because they could. No one really monitors it unless something has changed recently.

i meant more along the lines of when the game is on the line, closing out close games, demanding the ball in that situation

wasnt questioning his overall mentality, kid obviously got it

If the player in question was African American, for instance, the talent evaluator was only allowed to argue that “he is like so-and-so” if so-and-so was white or Asian or Hispanic or Inuit or anything other than black. A funny thing happened when you forced people to cross racial lines in their minds: They ceased to see analogies. Their minds resisted the leap. “You just don’t see it,” said Morey.

How many times have we seen this happen once the draft rolls around? Or someone immediately compares a lefty to Harden, Manu, etc?

This Morey article is incredible :hat

maybe if you take off your stock market goggles and watch them enough, you'll form an opinion outside of the norm casual fan :lol going off your opinion of the team, we would be in the bottom 3rd of the west right now.

i'm not saying the grizz are going to knock off the warriors in the playoffs. i'm sure most will say no one in the west will knock them out in a series. that's common knowledge for someone who watches basketball enough.

i do think they have a better shot than over half of the other playoff teams, though. they are one of the teams along with clippers, spurs and utah with elite defenses and physical enough squads to do so.

Jokes on you, I'm NOT a casual fan brah.

I watch and follow sports probably as close as most people on this board. I don't care where the Grizz are in Defense Efficiency or any of these stats you may want to back up your argument with. Simple answer is that they don't have enough scoring or a deep enough team to have a shot.

Forget the stats for a second. The Grizz do not have the mobile bigs who can play perimeter defense to competitively match up against the Warriors. I get that you love the Grizz and want to talk them most of the time here in this thread, but it's just not happening man. You're the only one who cares enough about the Grizz to bring them up and start conversation. If you left this thread for a month, no one would say anything about Memphis unless Gasol does another McGregor walk :lol

On defense, per Synergy Sports, JaMychal is allowing fewer overall points per possession than Draymond this season. Among all forwards, no one allows opponents a lower spot-up shooting percentage than JaMychal Green, with the player he's guarding shooting 27.1 percent this season.

Per @SynergySST, of 256 players w/ 100+ poss., JaMychal Green's defensive pts/poss. (.711) ranks 6th & his FG% allowed (29.9%) is 2nd.

sure, whatever you say :lol

grizz are what? top 10 in ppg off the bench right now? much deeper when healthy and probably the deepest team they've had in the last 3-4 years.

i don't even want to start adding to the other stuff you said, that was just the easiest thing to pick out. You're trying to take shots at me, but as soon as you mention something basketball related ..... what made you think we didn't have the mobile bigs to match up with them? :lol i'm not even going to mention who else is on the team because why bother? you couldn't even get the first step right.

like i said, generic comments.

now, tell me about how joakim noah was suppose to be a great pick up for you guys?

All I'm getting out of this reply is..."blah, blah, blah...Someone pay attention to my favorite team! They're good. Listen to me. Here let me insert some empty, meaningless stats to further emphasize my point"

You keep saying that, and we'll keep seeing the Grizz continue to have early exits in the playoffs, overpay for an injury prone PG and grow old :lol

You say I'm making generic comments? You're making generic assumptions. Not once have I ever praised the Noah signing. In fact, i'm a self-deprecating Knicks fan, admittedly none the less. Go in the Knicks thread and see for yourself what I have to say about my team.

Difference between me and you is that I don't push an agenda to pump up a lack luster team.

let the stupidity rip.

i fully expected you to do something like this once you couldn't back nothing up :lol

you would've been much better off saying you don't watch enough to form an educated opinion about the team.

you still think the team is old? okehhhh

oh, now you throwing out the early playoff exits? wowzers. must didn't realize the majority of the teams in the west playoff picture experience the same thing.

Brah, your team isn't on nationally televised games. Anyone that does watch em are either in Tennessee or has league pass and cares enough to watch a team with their best players all in their 30's.

that's fine b. all you had to say is that you watch national tv games and the knicks. :lol

Speaking national TV games, ESPN is showing a game featuring the #1 & #3 seeds in the East tonight.

How come I wouldn't even be surprised if wall actually had said this??
I wish he did

Sigh, you're really going to make me sit through my flight and go back to forth don't you? Okay, I'll play...

Vince Carter (39 years old) - TRASH
Zach Randolp (35 years old) - Shell of who he was
Marc Gasol (31 years old) - Good when healthy
Tony Allen (34 years old) - Shell of who he was
JaMychal Green (26 years old) - Nice upside
Jarell Martin (22) - TRASH
Brandon Wright (29) - TRASH
Chandler Parson (28) - TRASH and a thief :lol
Andrew Harrison (22) - TRASH
Mike Conley (29) - Overrated, over-payed and overly injured
Troy Daniels (25) - We're still waiting on him?
James Ennis (25) - Some upside, but how does he fit into the rotation?
Wade Baldwin (20) - LOL
Deyonta Davis (20) - LOL
Troy Williams (21) - Who?
Toney Douglas (30) - As a Knicks fan, don't even get me started on this guy :lol

Now, you tell me...this team has upside? **** with your BS man. I'm sick of your BS stats backing up a mediocre team that has no direction or interest from people. Like I said, you leave this thread for a month, and we'll only talk about Grizzles if Gasol does the McGregor walk again.

I vividly remember you saying how the Knicks aren't going to be laughed at anymore after you guys signed Noah and traded for Rose. Maybe JD or somebody can find it, but we had a brief discussion about it before the season started. I'm just too lazy to find it :lol

Why are you trying to show me the Grizz roster and say they're bad based on your analysis? Nothing I've said over the last few weeks have been screaming we are about to win a championship. As soon as I mention us having the defense and physicality to beat a team like the Warriors, you go up in flames about how the team "supposedly" sucks when you've watched maybe 1 game of them (against your team) this season....
