I thought DC had a subway system. Or is that bad too?

the arena is located at the exact same stop that is hell on earth for commuters trying to get home from work because it's the main transfer point. so it's chaos on a daily basis. Regardless, it doesn't stop Capitals fans from filling the arena, no one is gonna support a bad product. Simple as that, idc how good Wall is

Timberwolves got 3 "future stars" and are dead last in attendance.

They support the skins no matter what. They play in Landover though. Which is hood den a mfer.

Always found it funny in the NBA when one team is bad, no one shows up to games. But when another team is just as bad, people still show up.

I'm always surprised at how sparse the crowd is in Indiana. Even when they were really good a few years ago, the support was lacking.

Flashseats basically kills the secondary market. A casual fan might not even know what Flashseats is and might give up trying to find seats after not seeing any available on Stubhub or SeatGeek. Tickets have a base price for sellers and the system has an absurd markup rate. The few times I haven't been able to go to games I have tickets to, I tend to just give them to friends bc you run the risk of not selling them on Flashseats.

100% on flashseats why attendance stinks

Man ticket prices are relatively cheap

If Clips / Warriors isn't outrageous on stubhub, then I can only imagine what prices are for like wizards / magic.

I just realized that Indiana doesn't have a single white player on the roster

that can't help attendance.

Starting Saturday, the Grizz will play GSW, Cavs, Cavs consecutively :x

They're about to go from 2nd easiest strength of schedule to top 15 in a week :lol

That's why I needed us to win these last 4 games with half of our squad out :lol

Hoping to beat Portland on Thursday too, so a 3-game losing skid won't be too bad for us record wise

I work in SE DC, I couldn't imagine the hassle of going to a game at Verizon at night during the work week. Couple the hassle and mediocre basketball, noooooope.

3rd Street Tunnel is the best kept secret in the city...

If you're going to a Caps/Wizards game, park by there...by the time the game is over, 5-10 min walk to your car (if not in a garage), and easy access out of the city.

:rollin starboy starboy 's comment

DEAD :lol

Hope he signs with the Knicks. Would love to see what he could do with PorzinGod.

Assuming Wall is pretty much built the same way as all these other guys in the NBA--He'll take the extension Washington offers him and then demand a trade later on. It's selfish, but he will want to maximize his total earnings for his bottom line.

I do think he'd be an interesting pairing with Porzingas, especially considering Rose could possibly sign somewhere else.

But if the Wizards FO is looking to give Otto Porter a max extension, there's no doubt in my mind the same will be applied for John Wall.

Wizards better start and jump on an overpay for Wall by the Nuggets or Celtics.
