Only because someone has impressive individual stats does not make you tjw season mvp.
Otherwise, Jordan should have been mvp in 1987, 1988, 1990, because he was undisputable in Scoring and carrying his team to the whole season.

Your team usually has to be within the top seeds too.

Kawhi has the easier path to the #1 seed and has already won more awards than Harden, it's going to be him whether you like it or not.

If the Spurs end up getting the #1 seed, it's not based on Kawhi truly earning it as he sat out last night game plus the Warriors sat their core players as well.

I don't know about that. If he's out for an extended period though with the concussion it may hurt him. Spurs are 6-1 w/o him this season though.
