Rose had 2 seasons as a HOF-caliber player. Really closer to 1 and a half because he missed 40% of the season in 2012. Would be kind of a joke if he got in.

Not having a chip isn't a pre-requisite to getting in the hall. T-Mac is going in first ballot and never got out of the 1st rd (I'm not counting that Spurs run) but he's a 2 time scoring champ and was a dominant player for at least 5 seasons.
