Pg overrated "superstar"
People really saying he was better then Kawhi. [emoji]128546[/emoji]

Neither the bulls not the Knicks were getting past any Lebron team so he chose money and he made the right choice. Fans care bout winning more then thesr players.
All these dudes winning regardless.

Melo biggest problem is he was born to late. Imagine melo isoing and shooting long range 2's in the 90's.

At this point did melo really make a bad decision? If I remember correctly it came down between the knicks and the bulls when he was a free agent
Not even that. the decision came down to about $40 million. No player is leaving that much on the table.

We're going to see something similar happen with DeMarcus. They're gonna throw 200 at him & there's 0% chance he turns that down.

Melo plays for money & medals, not championships. That simple.

When could he have won or even been in close to?

1st when he didn't do what the other superfriends did in structuring their contracts (for monetary reasons). It was supposed to be him, Bron, and Wade not Bosh. Secondly, he had an opportunity to prioritize giving himself the best chance he'd ever had of winning since those in Denver by going to Chicago, but again chose money over what the Bulls were at the time.

Only a finite amount of players win championships or have careers where the expectations are so high that they will be defined by championships.

The money >>>>>>>>>

Maybe your first point, but not the second. That very bulls team didn't make the playoffs and two of those guys are his teammates now.

Oh and gutting the Knicks of talent just so he could get his money by signing in the offseason.

Imagine going from one job to another just because it's "better" even though it pays over 40Ms less

Imagine

I've always wondered if money should be that Important to them they can already buy everything they want

But that's the thing, I don't think any player in or just exiting their prime is turning down 30-40 mil to ring chase. You can criticize him for not including the opt-out after his 1st contract extension, but the chicago stuff is ridiculous.
