Yea it's a brutal stretch.
We've played, I think 30% of our home games already

But the Sacramento game comes on a b2b and then fly from Minnesota (I hope the Minnesota game isn't a late one)to Sac, or I'd give them more of a shot.
Then I'm not even sure they win that Dallas game on a b2b after playing Pels the night before (who are trending up and getting healthy), and that should be an OT type game.

Just brutal, they are about to get some business, Payne is playing tonight for the Blue, so he will be back soon.
I'm not Super high on Payne but it's nice to have another piece.
Domantas is the weak link.
He just can't play 25-30 minutes and not be aggressive.
Last night he scored 0 points and 2rbs in 26mpg, and If I have to look at him catch in the post and pass back out quick without facing up, one more time, I will drive to Edmond and have my Niece and Nephew TeePee the **** out of his Pad.

Why did they trade ilaysova? He seem like he exactly what they need from the 4

Even though Semaji shot played pretty well last night Payne is an upgrade over him because he can actually handle the ball and initiate the offense. I thin Payne was also pretty decent from 3 point range last year if I recall.

They blew a winnable game last night. OKC was scorching hot in the 1st quarter.

I don't really consider pulling up from 30 feet and taking contested 3s all game as "talented".

I also think there were a lot more dominant players in the past than there is now.

The game evolved for sure though. There were no Harden, ADs, KD, Giannis, KP type players.

Y'all know what would be dope and unique?

Glow in the dark uni's :hat

Have the players wear GitD jerseys, have the backboard, rims and nets GitD.

Have the court be dark, dim the lights in the rest of the arena.

you sound crazy g. this is ridiculous. Leave this nonsense for college midnight madness night.

Wtf? I never wrote this post...

You can count on one hand the number of players that are known for this.

Shooting is obviously the key component to the current pace and space driven league but "pulling up from 30 feet and taking contested 3s all game" is not a league wide theme.

Man what? :lol

"Pulling up from 30" has nothing to do with why the league is at its best now.

Also there weren't "more dominant players" from the past then they're are now, show me any proof of that.

Laker legend Samaki Walker chiming in:
@samaki_walker We criticize today's NBA players for taking games off when clearly This era's game is played at a much faster pace. The body needs rest!
Today's game requires one to cover more ground vs the pounding the 90s...a good, healthy debate.

OKC is in trouble trouble.

4, maybe 5-6

Denver, Chicago, MInnesota, Dallas

Maybe Pels and Kings

I'm guessing you're either too pessimistic right now or hitting with that reverse jinx game.

I say

Denver
Chicago
Minne
Dallas
Pelicans
Kings
Clippers (Aint no telling what lac is going to look like with cp3 hamstring and blake will still be out)
I believe they'll beat charlotte tomorrow
and possibly memphis since conley is in and out. May even surprise a team like san antonio on the 31st.

I can see them going 7 wins for the month, sure. Realistically.

There are really only two types who don't like Players resting in the NBA

DFS players

Fans that come to see Superstars who are in town rarely.

Take away DFS and I don't think this is a topic.

Wrong

When cavaliers or golden state comes to town, tickets are expensive AF

if I pay a premium price for tickets mainly because of lebron james and I go to the game and he sits... why the hell did I pay $300 for a ticket to watch an average team?

Thing is I was looking for some lower level seats to go to the game December 26th when cavaliers came to play the pistons... of course a few hours before game time it came out that he was resting

I bought my Wife courtside seats to that game as her Xmas gift. Her favorite player is Lebron. We enjoyed everything that came with courtside seating and being on the floor was awesome and something she never did so that was worth it.

But man, I felt empty, felt like her Xmas gift was not complete. I knew they were playing Warriors night before and there was a chance. But I took it.
