OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

TCU's AD said that Meachem isn't even a candidate there.

I thought Locksley was gone at UMD?

And Holgerson is returning for another year.

I hope they do, 6-6 is trash to reward a bowl game with. But weren't there barely enough 6-6 teams for bowls this year?

7-5? mmm...that would eliminate quite a few bowls.

edit: twelve 6-6 teams and three 5-7 teams

Virginia: BYU offensive coordinator Robert Anae, offensive line coach Garett Tujague, running backs coach Mark Atuaia and quarterbacks coach Jason Beck will join Bronco Mendenhall’s staff at Virginia, in addition to Nick Howell and Kelly Poppinga who we already reported will go. We also expect strength coach Frank Wintrich to go as well.

Crazy. Bronco cleaning house and taking it with him to VA. It'll be interesting to see what BYU does. As an alum, I hope they find a guy that helps bring energy to the team and can coach up the guys they are able to get. BYU gotta be one of the hardest jobs in CFB.

Do all of the coaches at BYU have to be LDS or just the HC?
I'm pretty sure it's just the HC.  Mike Holmgren was an assistant there back in the day and he's not LDS.  Leach was a GA there back in the day too, and he's not LDS either.

Things might have been different under LaVell though.
