OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

Any good reads out there on Wisconsin's defense this season and how Dave Aranda adjusts to various styles of the opposing offenses the Badgers have faced?

 at Paul Johnson saying Justin Thomas was injured on a dirty play by miami. He handed it off on a read and got hit from behind. He's always crying about something

Leach, meantime, has put out feelers for the job according to a coaching industry source. The 54-year-old offensive guru, who's led No. 20 Washington State to an 8-3 record in his fourth season at the school, was initially Anderson's leading candidate during Maryland's last search in 2011. But his uncensored, gruff personality during an interview turned off school administrators, who nixed his potential hiring. It's unclear whether Maryland is seriously considering Leach, but sources say he's interested, and he does reportedly have a strong relationship with Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank.

Meantime, sources continue to indicate that Mullen could be Maryland-bound as soon as early next week, and names of coaches who could follow him from other schools have begun to circulate. But he's yet to visit College Park and his hiring would likely mean the school -- likely aided by Plank -- is more than doubling the $2.1 million annual salary it was paying Edsall.

So, Jimbo for $30 million over five years?

I can live with that.

We need Missouri or South Carolina or Illinois or somebody to cough up an hire Les on a five year deal at $3 million a year so we don't have to pay him that buyout. I would think he'd be a great hire for any of them. He'd be a home run for Virginia Tech as well.
Supposedly this guy used to run a LSU mag back in the day.

Would much rather have Herman too, but it's looking like a longshot at this point to keep it real. If we don't hire Bud as HC we need a new DC too :smh:

That's not true. Bud is more than likely sticking around if we hire Fuente or Herman, although it's looking like it's definitely Fuente at this point.
