What do you want me to do? Let my hate for another team take over, run into their thread and troll like the POS that I am? I'd just be following your foot steps.

Looks like I caught you at the wrong time of the month, didn't realize you were cycling. No need to get your panties in a bunch because your team is going to get defecated on. You guys got lucky against Detroit plain and simple. I just get a kick out of these part-time frontrunner Sharks fans that show up playoff time. Most of you don't know anything about Hockey. You're the NHL version of the lame Laker clowns who put flags on their cars.

Funny you bring up PMSing when youre the one thats acting crabby. Im actually not going to disagree with you, I only really follow the Sharks once the playoffs start but I'll never call myself a die-hard fan either because of that. You seriously have nothing else to think/worry about other than the Sharks and their fans? Must be one pathetic life you lead. Now please go ahead and douche your vagina.Getting lucky in a 7 game series....Whatever you say, NTs resident hockey expert.

First born needs to calm down. I don't think anybody in this thread is claiming to be a huge Sharks fan or even Hockey. People are just playfully cheering for their hometown team. But what most likely is happening is that you're looking for attention, coming into another thread and trolling. I don't expect anything else from someone who is this passionate about Hockey.

I was wondering why this thread kept getting bumped to the top.

FB, to clear up any confusion.....I am a casual Sharks fan and dont claim to be a hockey expert. Go to about 3 games a year. This year, I only went to one.  I'll watch the Sharks on tv but not if there is a Giants/Warriors game on at the same time. And if there is a great baseball/basketball game on at the same time, Im probably watching that instead of hockey.

I cant speak for the other guys in here. So stop generalizing and talking S#@% about everyone. You can shake your head if you disagree with the concept of a casual fan all you want. No beef from me. But to compare us to lame Laker fans? Go f-word yourself pal.

I never claimed to be a diehard hockey fan like I am with basketball and football, but I root for the Sharks because they're the local team. I'm a pretty casual baseball fan too (which is why I'm never in the baseball threads

), but I'd say I'm a slightly bigger fan of hockey just because of location (being near San Jose)

I seriously worry about you, it's not hard to tell that you are an emotional individual off the web. You were quick with the name calling when I didn't address any particular member. I believe we have had words in the past so I can see why you were quick with the insults and personal attacks. Ask yourself this though, who really has a pathetic life when one can't distinguish a sports fan breaking balls? I came in here to stir up some blood for the playoffs, since 99% of you guys won't step up foot into the NHL thread. What Up, you take the internet way to seriously.

You seriously need to improve your reading and comprehension skills my man. Re-read what I wrote at least 10 times. Sound out the syllables too. If you still don't understand ask someone with a college education to assist you.

As for the rest of you casual fans, relax. Chalk it up to a fan of a different team who wants to see you guys lose, nothing more. Trash talking is a part of sports fellas.

Haha, Lucky against DET in a 7 game series...thats stupid.
You're right, since we all arent diehard Sharks fans we shouldnt cheer on our team.

Please learn something about the sport before you reply again, you're better off with the rest of the casual fans just replying Go Sharks!

For you novices, Detroit's injuries (though part of the game) were the only reason you advanced. Both teams were equally matched talent wise going into the playoffs, but Detroit had some major setbacks to a few of their starts. I am not even a Detroit fan, just letting you know the truth from an un-bias fan in that series.

Matthew Barnaby, a former NHL tough guy and current hockey analyst for ESPN, pleaded not guilty to five charges on Saturday, a day after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in a suburb of Buffalo on Friday night.

The Buffalo News reports the Barnaby, 38, was released on his own recognizance. While police have released few details, the incident reportedly involves his estranged wife and another adult. Law enforcement officials told the newspaper that there were no injuries and Barnaby made no physical contact with the alleged victims.

Barnaby faces up to four years in prison on the single felony count of criminal mischief. He’s also charged with criminal contempt, criminal trespass, harassment and aggravated harassment. Amherst Town Justice Mark G. Farrell ordered Barnaby to steer clear of anyone involved in the case.

"We just learned of this so it would be inappropriate to comment," ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said in an e-mail to CBSSports.com Friday night.

Amherst police responded to Barnaby’s home around 6:15 p.m. and The Buffalo News reports that he was taken into custody a short time later.

Barnaby, a native of Ottawa who also does TV work for TSN, played seven seasons in Buffalo before he continued his NHL career in Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, New York (Rangers), Colorado, Chicago and Dallas. He played in 834 games -- racking up 2,562 penalty minutes -- before he retired in 2007.

Wait, he didn't touch anyone?

and what about my post makes you think I, or the rest of us for that matter dont know anything about hockey oh superior one?
If both teams are equally as talented, they both were equally as likely to win the series. Its not coincidence that they were only 1 point apart in the standings. Dont give me some BS about blah blah being injured when DET is past their prime. You dont get "Lucky" winning a 7 game series.
It sounds like you need to know something about sports before you reply again, oh yea "Go Sharks!"
