Like I said in the Heat thread, it's nights like this were Haslem's presence is missed.

He's $$$ with the mid-range jumper and could really help alleviate the scoring load on the Big 3, especially when the Heat shooters are struggling like tonight.

O.J. getting to know the pine real well in the first half.

I don't blame Coach Hollins though. Team chemistry really developed while O.J. was suspended.

I really, really like Tyler Hansbrough.

Thabeet - Always was a terrible pick even though we all knew he would be a three year project.
Henry - I thought he would shoot better but he's only 19 and shown flashes.
Mayo - Good player (probably reached his ceiling), who doesn't fit on the team anymore.
Basically.
Henry is the 2nd youngest player in the league. Give him time. It was actually a solid pick for that draft. There was no one else I wanted at 12 other than George who was already selected.

Thabeet has until next year to show what he can do. He also still has trade value anyway. We could've got Curry, but he refused to work out here. We also could've got Tyreke, but how he would've fit with the team if we were going with Conley from the start?

Now......Demarre Carroll
eyes.gif
But, our other picks were pretty solid. Sam and DA are turning into very good rotational players. Sam just may end up being a solid starter. Vasquez is looking good too.
I did jump the gun on Henry...
But if you didn't think O.J. Mayo would be more then this your lying to yourself.  Already reached his ceiling...

And picks like Arthur and Sam Young are nice, but I'm just saying...do those Thabeet and Mayo picks over and were talking about a much better team. I know your going to have hit or misses in the draft, but those were killers.

No Rudy in the 2nd half either. Hopefully he will be well rested by next Tuesday.

I'm looking into that as I am typing right now.  Just goin thru the list now, seein what's what.  How'd you do on that project of yours?
It took a long time, but there's a handful on there that I just have no interest watching... I lost count, but I've buried more than 200 of them. Started working my way through Academy Awards nominees too... There's a list somewhere that has every movie that has EVER held a spot on the Top 250. It's bananas...

Just gotta grab a Netflix account, build up a monstrous queue and start burning through it... You could probably very easily run through the 250 in a year, given what all you've probably already seen. There's some of the more recent stuff that is on there for no reason other than hype, but the older stuff that is on there is pretty much spot on. And there's loads more that probably should be on there but isn't.

I've taken to reading some this year, so I've slowed down a bit... I'm trying to read a book a month this year. Doesn't sound like a lot, I know. But I haven't really gotten into reading in YEARS. Trying to get back into it now. I'm already through 2 and on my third, so if I get through 12 books this year, I'll feel I've accomplished something... My pop burns through a book a week.

If Mayo's career outlook is as a 17-22 PPG scorer, is that such a bad thing? Compared to what Kevin Love is doing sure, but Mayo is a good player stuck in a bad situation. If he gets traded to a place where he's able to play 38 MPG and get 15 FGA, then we'll really see what he's made of. I never thought he was superstar, but he's not as bad as he's been this season either.

The possibility of Denver missing the playoffs with Melo is hilarious, no?
