He can't be involved in a trade with multiple players, but he be traded in a one for one swap.

So Bayless for Andersen could work. Then they can do the Stojakovic for Jack and Banks deal separate (I think they still have the Bosh trade exception).

man i feel sorry for mavs fans. first that bareara guy goes what 1 for 13? and now terry went 2 for 13?? if these 2 dudes make atleast 2 more of their shots and you win both those games...

I always thought Bayless was super overrated, but now I've seen it firsthand.

Having a legitimate backup point would be great, but this wouldn't address the need for a backup big with an actual inside presence, and rebounding, in general (Aaron Gray? Pops?). David Andersen is Jason Smith is Darius Songaila, more or less.

10-1, though. I'm not worried about much right now.

Biggest pro I don't see here is the nearly 12 million dollars saved (5mil initial savings, 5 mil tax check, 2 mil reduction of lux taxpayment). That might allow the Hornets to use an exemption in Februaryto get another piece and/or do something with the flexibility plusBanks' expiring.

@SpearsNBAYahoo Since Bayless can't be included in a multi-player deal prior to Dec. 23, its two deals with Bayless for Andersen and Peja for Jack & Banks.

I absolutely did.  I said over and over they need to lock Roy up.  Did I have Roy's MRI's in front of me?

Pritch had ALL the info in front of him.  Allen did NOT want to guarantee all that money to Roy UNLESS there were provisions.  And as reported, Pritchard caved.  He didn't like the pressure he was getting from fans (and haters like me) and so he folded and gave Roy every penny.  With the MRI's right there in front of him.  Not long after that, Pritchard was in no man's land within the organization. 

So, sound like a quality GM still?  Or was he just a guy with a rich @#$ owner who could buy draft picks from poor teams?

Murphy won't be traded anytime soon... Most likely around the trade deadline if the Melo chances fall through.

Murphy would be a good addition to the Thunder depending on who they give up. He can rebound, play a little inside and can also shoot the 3 ball pretty good.

Unless Jennings is a free agent, he can't (if I'm not mistaken). A similar issue came up in the World Championships. If Team USA hadn't won, they'd have to play in the FIBA Americas tourney next summer, and any players under contract wouldn't be allowed to participate if there was a lockout that coincided with it.
