pretty sure they can't use video to correct the actual call, but as the announcers said, if it wasn't touched by anybody the clock neededfixed... these guys gotta explain this one, especially if illini win.

Cal and Clemson (and potentially Illinois) didn't.

Cal really wasn't favored. they were 1 pt favorites by Vegas, but on ESPN and Yahoo a significantly greater % of people nationwide picked MD. and almostevery sports panelist i saw had MD.

Clemson though, yeah you're right about that. not really an "official" upset though, because they were only 3 seeds apart.

my point is, it's been pretty uneventful compared to recent years.

so far, this is the worst tournament Day 1 in recent memory... i'm pretty sure every favorite won, with the exception of i think BYU.
