Funny pic, but I disagree with you. How is he reaching? You think a team led by Udonis Haslem and Mario Chalmers wouldnt be the worst team inthe league? Lets just modestly say that it would be one of the worst 4 teams, which I dont think you would strongly disagree with. So if you think they wouldbe bottom 4, would worst really be a reach? No.

Just dont end up on the wrong side the OBrien Trophy...... lol

Since the Cavaliers have only been around since 2003, if they win the Championship this year is that some sort of expansion team record?

NO.
why are you acting like wade has only played good one year???. have you seen wades stats this year and when he won the championship?

Im not acting like this is his only good year. Hes always been good but this is the first time hes putting up numbers like Lebron. And now that he is all ofa sudden hes MVP. If you wanna go by numbers then Lebron should been MVP the past 3 years

I also like how all of a sudden record doesnt matter. Thats why Kobe won it last year. No ifs ands or buts Lebron should be MVP.

I think LBJ is running away with it right now.

Best record in the League when Kobe clearly has a better cast around him.

He's putting up better #'s than Wade.

He's doing it all, not missing any games.

LBJ is the frontrunner, but all this he doesn't have a supporting cast is kinda reaching.

Sure Kobe has more well known names around him, but production wise his top two running mates are putting up similar numbers.

Pau Gasol: 18.8 pts, 9.5 reb. 3.6 assists a game. Lamar Odom: 10.9 pts, 8 reb, 2.5 assists a game.

Mo Williams: 18.0 pts, 3.4 reb, 4.0 assists a game. Zydrunas Ilgauskas: 13.4 pts, 7.4 reb, 1 assist a game.

And as far as LBJ putting up better numbers than Wade, he's not. Wade has the edge in every major statistical category except rebounds. He still won'twin though cause the Heat have been faltering a little as of late.

did you watch the recent boston game, in boston, when wade sat out....
No. But then again, EVERY player in the L earned their way to the L for a reason. It's not unbelievable to think a Wade-less heat could sneakin ONE win. The other HEATs are NBA players too ya know. But that's not to say we should get carried away andthink the HEAT could do it consistently w/o Wade. They would suck and swallow without Flash.

Like it was Kobe's turn last year, it's Lebron;s turn this year.

Damn sports journalists never getting it right in the first place.

lebron got it, if they end up with the best record, which they prolly will... its all his guaranteed!

If you're gonna reach that high, then you might as well include Wade's supporting cast:

Jermaine O'Neal (14.2 p, 5.2 r, 2.2 a, 0.5 s, 2.2 b)/Shawn Marion (12.0 p, 8.7 r, 1.8 a, 1.4 s, 1.1 b)
Michael Beasley (13.3 p, 5.2 r, 0.9 a, 0.5 s, 0.5 b - in just 24 minutes per game)

Not as good as the other two, but not that far off to be described as the worst in the league. Kobe is the only one of the three who is playing with afranchise player next to him. Maybe not a franchise player on any team, but certainly one of the poorer teams, like he was in Memphis.

@ people sayingLeBron has some marvelous supporting cast this year. If they're so good, then why is he leading the team in ppg, rpg & apg?

Yeah, you could say that LeBron has the edge in only rebounds as the only statistical category. Another, less LeBron hate-filled, way of saying it would bethat the rebounding difference between the two (2.5) is still bigger than all the other differences combined that Wade has on him (which amount to 2.3). PlusLeBron averages 0.5 turnovers less. The only statistical difference Wade has on LeBron is points. And steals I guess. The 0.3 assists he averages more can bechanged in one or two games.

The same game where the "worst team in the league" (which is what they were according to you, since Wade was out) took the defending champs and oneof the best teams in the league to overtime?

Dwyane Wade , MIA

38.5min 29.8
LeBron James , CLE

38.1min 28.5
Kobe Bryant , LAL

36.3min 27.5

Kobe Bryant plays 2 less minutes than those OTHER guys... Keep that in mind.

Kobe Bryant is the MVP this season.

Bron with 22, 8 and 11 in a win last night.

D12 with a monster 24, 21 and 4 blocks, even a couple assists and steals to go with in a big win vs the Celts.

CP3 with small 19 and 13 with 6 boards and a couple steals in a loss.

Wade in a rare poor game had 21 and 8 with 4 boards, but did have 4 steals in a tough loss. Still, pretty good for a "poor" game.
