A bad back makes you miss a gimme at the rim? Ok. Whatever.

It wasn't a gimme. He clearly had to elevate over 2 defenders. Stop reaching, kid.
Dog... get off my nuts.

I thought there was a silent "agreement" between the two of us where we both don't address the other.

We obviously don't see eye to eye ever since you *%!%*%* up like a little girl during football season. So fall back.

You stay in your lane, I stay in mine.

Back to the game.

I didn't agree to do $+$@.
laugh.gif
Quiet, you.

Football season...blah, blah. I don't even know what you're talking about and don't need you to remind me either. SMH at you for even bringing up some $+$@ from football season.
laugh.gif
I know you don't remember. Your memory seems real short sonny. Which is why I mentioned it.

But it's all good. Like I said, stay in your lane. I'll stay in mine.

Hopefully the Lakers pull the next one out back home.

How the %!@+ am I to remember a "silent" agreement? LOL. Fall back.
You already responded and now you want to respond AGAIN?
laugh.gif

What are you, a kid looking for attention? Oh right...

Son, you're a liar, number 1. Acting like you don't know or don't remember.

I'm here to talk about the Lakers failure to steal this game 4. You want to chat about that or continue to be all over my nuts?
smh.gif

Number 2, stop trolling.

Anyway, I'm out. Lakers better win this series and silence those classless Jazz fans.

Thiiiiiiiiiiis dude...

If I remember correctly, you, SHUGES, mentioned some "silent" agreement from football season...so you can say this and that about claiming to discussthe game solely, but that ain't even the case, kid. How can you cry trolling when you mentioned some random %@%$ from the Fall. LOL.

Calling me a liar because I don't remember some dumb @++ agreement that you claim to say we had? Shut that !!!# up.
laugh.gif

Carry on discussing the game...if you can.

LMAOOOOOOOOOO @ Laker Stans in this thread, and the ppl retorting at them
roll.gif
,
son of a b#***$, we had to have this game. I don't like our chances now, we gave Utah a ton of confidence. I really hope Kobe was overdramatizing his back injury, but this doesn't look good.
jumping ship so soon on your Number 1 seed Lakers

roll.gif

I swear Kobe is your hero yesterday and today his fans/stans are throwing him under the bus

laugh.gif

I just want to know which one it is....

One mintue yall tell us we shouldn't complain about calls then seconds later you say the jazz got away with dirty plays...
I wasn't saying you guys didn't have a right to complain.

I was just laughing because I KNEW this was gonna happen when the series shifted back to Utah.

In the Game 2 thread, some Lakers fans were saying sweep, and that they had this.

I had to point out that the Jazz have a crazy homecourt.

I am sitting in my house just steaming...

The whole thread I never wanted to blame the refs. But after the last play I can do nothing else but blame the refs for this L.

The entire 4th they called EVERY touch on us. How in the hell does fisher get THROWN! by boozer and no call? You can see his hands extended. I am super super upset right now....
You may have a point about the refs but I was not watching the game closely enough to see how they were calling it for both teams, but all those missed free throws by the Lakers didn't exactly help.

Free throws would have helped. Most people on the board know me and they know I will talk bad about my team when it needs to be said.

And I am going to do just that. Turnovers, Rebounds and really just not looking like they wanted to win. IMO they didn't play hard untill the last 4 mintues of the 4th. They never EVER got a lead since it was 4-2 or something like that in the first. they always got close but they never ever made the big play to get the lead.

But at the same time I have to complain about the way the game was called. Now if you look at the stats the lakers had 33 personal fouls and the jazz had 27. You think to your self well thats not that bad. If you watched the game, the jazz got a bunch of calls after shots that missed or they got touch fouls 25 feet away from the cup. People who know the jazz know they play dirty. I saw so many moving picks and screens that it just made me sick. Everybody saw fisher get thrown to the ground by boozer. I understand the refs don't want to make calls in the 4th or in OT but come on now.

This team did show me something. They showed me they have the will to fight and come back. I just wish they would have shown this at the start of the 4th instead of waiting till the end. But anybody who has watched the lakers or is a laker fan knows thats what we do.

If we come out ready to play at staples and win by 10 or 15 we are fine. But if its another close game or the jazz win this thing is a wrap.
Props to you tupac, you're one of the few rational Laker fans on this board. Like I said, I wasn't playingclose attention to how the game was called so I can't really comment on that. But I can understand your frustration about the refs, that's how I feltin the Kings/Lakers WCF Game 6 a few years back.

At least you acknowledge some of the deficiencies the Lakers had this game, like the free throw shooting. Everybody else is blaming either the refs or Kobe, their probably getting their pitch forks and torches to march to his house as I type this.

While they did lose both games in Utah the Lakers can still be encouraged by the fact that they played relatively bad both games yet had a chance to win eachone. I think y'all will win these series, but if the Lakers lose Game 5, all bets are off.

lamar is speaking the truth right now (for those watching sports zone in socal)

bad execution and defense killed the lakers today.

Some of those fans claiming sweep know nothing about basketball.

Anybody with a brain knew this would go 6 or 7. After game 2 I thought maybe 5 because I thought they could steal one here but yall can't be upset about uscomplaining about calls when yall know good adn damn well the jazz get away with MURDER in salt lake.

Lakers were disappointing today
smh.gif

1. What is Gasol doing out there 90% of the time? I realize he doesn't have much playoff experience, especially in a hostile environment like Utah butc'mon. He looks lost on D way too often, isn't getting over fast enough to help in the key. and he ALWAYS has something to say to the ref. When hemissed the jumpball in OT instead of going after it he went straight to the Ref to complain
smh.gif

2. Kobe needed to get off the ball in OT. He knew his back was affecting his game yet he still kept putting up shots. Why wasn't Fisher (he's thereason they made it to OT) or Lamar (nobody could stop him) taking shots down the stretch.
3. I completely disagree with Ronny getting thrown out. He went for the ball and nothing more. Sure there was a lot of body contact but it's the playoffs
indifferent.gif
I hope the league reviews this.
4. Why won't/don't the Lakers run any iso's for Lamar? There's no way Okur or Boozer can stay with him off the dribble.

Hopefully Kobe can rest his back before Wednesday and the Lakers bounce back at home.

.

For the game, Kobe definitely didn't help the cause.

In the 4th quarter and in OT, dude tried to do way too much. Clearly his shot wasn't falling, but he still pressed the issue.

He should've been more of creator since he commands so much attention, and he was doing that for awhile by hooking up D-Fish with those open looks.

Then he just went away from that..

For the series, I definitely think it goes 7 games. Utah is just too tough at home. If people think that the refs were bias and wanted to extend this series, what do you think is gonna happen in a Game 6 if the Jazz backs are against the wall at home?

Kobe's back is an issue, and the Lakers definitely better hope they protect homecourt, and get Game 5.

Because if not...

I watched the whole game.I saw Kobe not get touched on a three point play.

I saw Kobe flat out run into AK not have anywhere to go but get the call.

I saw Okur get a BS tech on a VERY questionable call.

Now the Jazz got did get away with ALOT little dirty stuff but that stuff isn't going to get called down the stretch no matter what the situation is.

Somewhere in San Antonio, Chris Paul is praying Kobe's back isn't messed up that bad

I just want to know which one it is....

I will tell you that you are correct on every one of those calls that should have been a non call...

But I saw fisher get thrown,

I saw moving screen after moving screen,

And lots and LOTS of jersey grabbing.

All I am saying is don't tell us not to complain and then say the jazz got away with dirty stuff. Don't point out missed calls on one end with out doing it for the other team also.

What I'm trying to tell you is that little stuff isn't going to get called no matter what.

The whole Phoenix Suns offense is moving screens and they don't call it, that's just the NBA and the Lakers do the same #%%$ at times.

I'm with you pac. They do get away with murder.

I wasn't laughing at you guys complaining.

I was laughing because I thought you guys knew that they get away with murder in Salt Lake.

Either way, now you know.

I've known for two years now. And my dude acid knows, too. Being a Warriors fan and all facing them last year.

that explains the jazz record at home versus on the road

it is all refs help

co-sign. you should expect that playing in Utah...
Speaking of the Lakers, they could REALLY use Bynum in this series and if Kobe isn't 100%, they could be in deep trouble...Utah (as "dirty" asthey can be in the post, trust me, i know how it feels after my team lost to them last postseason, i'll spare the details, but i felt the same way some ofu laker fans are feeling now when we lost to them in close games; boozer pushing off, etc etc) is a very nice well-run disciplined team that has all theingredients it takes to get to the Finals; Deron is almost as good as CP3, just doesn't have the flash in his game. But, this series should be veryexciting in the last 2-3 games and I'll be tuned in to every one.

Oh yeah...I know. We have done this after just about every loss. I can't say I haven't done it myself but I have tired not to do it as much.

People can't blame kobe. We always ask him to take over. He tired and he was hurt. VERY HURT! No way you blame him. IMO you can't blame not one singleplayer for this loss. We can look at very VERY poor FT shooting, poor D at times, no diving for balls or being aggressive and just plain getting out playedwhen it really mattered.

You are 100% right when you say if we lose game 5 all best are off. I want to see this team just kill the jazz at home. I don't want anything close. Iwant all the mo coming into utah. We can't have a game 7. I need to know if this team can beat a quality team on the road in the playoffs.

I am upset right now but I slowly calming down. It hurts to have every chance to win the game but not close out. Lamar and fish keep doing your thing. Kobe getwell. Vlad and farmar need to watch film and just try to step up. If I were phil I would start luke. I know luke had some bad moments but he played 50 timesbetter then what vlad did. Ronnie I know the nba will get rid of the BS call.

Let's go lakers!

co-sign tupac..................i called 6 before the series started, but then i thought it would be 5 after game 2

williams is tough, you cant take anything away from him......offense was no existant for the most part in the 4th/ot, we were bailed out by odom and fisher forthe most part.........again we need a good start, have to get some kind of a lead in the 1st........its not like we cant come back, we can its just we need toget a lead early and then expand on it like games 1 and 2.....game 5 should be interesting

oh well i believe we will murk them at home, if phil's @%% said anything we should get to the line 50 times

anyway i think the key to us winning in utah is not having fisher pick up fouls early cause farmar is on that

tip right now. dude has ZERO confidence out there and philwould be wise not to put him in the game at all. Also if the game is remotely close in the 4th on wed, leave at least 2 starters on the floor with sasha, lukeand a big cause the past two games the jazz have killed us at the beginning of the 4th in game 3 and 4 leaving us a big hole to try and get out of.

D. Williams is the truth.

The jazz as a team are damn good on their floor.

Like I have said I want to blame 100% of this loss on my team but I can't. 95% is my team just being plain stupid and not doing what they need to do. Ijust can't get over the way the game was called.

But you know what...Eff it. Its not like we are out of the playoffs...

I am going to get some coldstone and watch this spurs game. Yall have a great day.

Props to everybody I could have an actual conversation with. I love how we can debate without stupid crap being passed around..

Shuges...you know you low for the kobe comment but I expect nothing less from you. The board wouldn't be the same without the kobe hate! LOL

But you know what...Eff it. Its not like we are out of the playoffs...

I am going to get some coldstone BBQ and watch this spurs game. Yall have a great day.
i had to take this quote pac, cause i was bout to post the same exact thing(minus coldstone)

I know this has been said many times and is going to be said plenty more. Why did we give Luke all this money. Dude is terrible down the stretch.

As for the game, I only saw from the last minutes of the third to the end. We look terrible on D and everybody acts like they don't know how to executethe offense. They've done it all year long and now they want to forget. I still have faith in this team but we definitely gotta clamp down.

I saw the Ronny replay and that was not even close to being a flagrant.
