It's a joke. No one wants to take account we play 4 on 5 every night due to our ineffective PG play and are routinely outcoached, but yeah, Melo is the end all be all problem.

Part of the reason why KP is doing so well is because of the attention Melo gets on the offensive side of the ball. You also cannot discount the mentor-role Melo seems to have permissibly taken on towards KP.

for me personally i cant realistically judge melo careeer and say its a failure just because he aint reach the chip... his best roster had guys like AI, chauncey, amare and tyson and while these are good players they are nothing to brag about to say melo should have done better with those teams...
