There is NO way that happens. If the Knicks miss the playoffs, heads will roll. I'm for real, there would be a riot at MSG or some *!@#.

2nd to last game of the season is at the Garden against the Bulls on TNT. Can you imagine the Knicks not making the playoffs on THAT day? Barkley would look like Nostradamus, CAKE will be in here crowing and there would be jerseys burning in the city.

[/font]So I noticed there’s been a lot of players who seem to do really well against the Knicks lately.  I decided to do a little research and find out how many players have had their highest scoring game this season against the Knicks.  The list got big enough that I decided to call this trend the Knick Effect (formerly the Golden State Warrior Effect).  So far this season 19 players have benefited from the Knick Effect.

Tayshaun Prince – 11/28 – 31 points

Andrea Bargnani – 12/8 – 41 points
Goran Dragic – 1/7 – 17 points
Ben Gordon – 1/30 – 35 points
Elton Brand – 2/4 – 33 points (Is this the Elton of 2005)

So that’s 33 players that love playing the Knicks.  Over 50% of the games played since the Melo trade have had Knick Effect games as well.  That’s something to keep an eye on.  It seems like more than a coincidence at this point.  At first I was thinking that maybe the Knicks pace had something to do with it, but if that were the case then wouldn’t the list be full of normally high scoring players like Kobe, LeBron and Nowitzki?  How come a good portion of this list is filled with names like Pondexter, Forbes and Harangody?

I guess the point is the Knicks need to learn to play some defense and they need a big man. That was  a lot of research to make that quite obvious point. Now I am going to go watch tape of the games to figure out how the Knicks could be better on defense…oh wait, I am probably just going to open a can natty light and try to forget how much I love this team.

And this doesn't even count the team stats like the best half Charlotte's had this season.

A play-off collapse cant happen to me 3 times in 5 years.

The 07 Mets at least had success the previous year.

Billups may be a rally killer that is off right now or he is sabotaging the Knicks not to make the playoffs. After when Melo hit his 2 threes Amare set a pick and was wide open he decides to shoot a leaner.

I seriously doubt there is a coach that can make these people play better defense nobody ever helps. It's was confused I had to make sure I was watching Kwmane Brown.

I haven't seen her post in a while, which is surprising given the success the Bulls have had this season.

And I find it ironic that a lot of the Knicks' fans complaining about the trolling were doing the very same thing when the Heat were going through their struggles this season.

And will be right back at it if/when the Heat get bounced from the playoffs.
