I agree with all of this. I give Melo **** a lot (only because I think he can still use his talents more effectively) but y'all are right. There should be no way he was left off of any all NBA team of the strength of his last two seasons alone. I think he looks at this and considers moving still. One of my favorite moments of the NBA season was 'Melo dropping a career-high 62 on the Bobcats at MSG. Think it was in January.

Just watched that 30 minute CBS Sports documentary on the 94 finals. **** was ******* heart breaking. I legit punched the wall next to me when they were going over Hakeem's game 6 block on Starks...
Just to think of what Starks and Ewing's legacies would have been like if Starks hit that 3 to win the finals.
Starks would have one of the most memorable all time finals games under his belt if that 3 goes in, having already played a terrific game up to that point plus the game winning 3 to seal the championship. He would forever be reveled in NBA history and not just as "That dude from the 90s who Knicks fans love but whose defining moment was going 2-18 in Game 7."
And Ewing would have sealed his should be rightful spot as the era's 2nd superstar behind Jordan by beating Hakeem and winning that ring.
Drives me ******* crazy how history has somehow managed to rank players like David ******* Robinson ahead of Ewing, when if you would have brought that up at any point during their primes you would have simply been laughed at. Hakeem and Ewing was always the clear 1/2 battle for the dominant center of that era, with Ewing widely considered 1a until the 94 finals, while The Admiral consistently missed the playoffs or was made Hakeem's personal *****.
