AC is my watered down version of Vegas when I can't get out there
Not a big deal about the bottle prices, I already know what type of spending night I'm going to have when I decide to head to HQ. But the prime VIP locations for a cheaper price, COUNT ME IN!
We should set up a NT AC Summit ... meetup with some of our Central/South Jerzee/Philly NTers ... this could be EPIC if planned correctly

My best friend I grew up with is a big name NYC DJ. Joey Grossman aka Joey Bumps, he plays all over and we get VIP and reduced price bottle service. He owns a production company called "Afterhours Army" he works with Miss Jennifer, Chris Vargas (also two of my friends) Bors, Jean Piere, Mind Control and many other huge name DJ's.
He plays all over - Ceilo, Baru, SHO, Le Souk, The Grand, Colosseum, Lavo, both Revel's, Deco. Murmur, all over the shore. He played the main stage at Vargas's Randall's Island Voodoo festival.
Def a lot of fun man, u should come out. He's playing MGM Foxwoods this Sunday and we're all going.

I bought the 10s but am having second thoughts so I was gonna try and flip them for $10 over retail at the local sneaker consignment shop and he passed bc he wanted retail. Lol I will just take them back to the store in that case right? I used my time to get a raffle ticket then got up and went to the mall and picked them up. I gotta get at least $10 gas money. Lol

I'm happy with them but the leather feels kinda hard tho
I compared it to my chicagos and the quality on the chis are much nicer. But I got them in a bigger size and never got rid of them

Yup I had the all black 10 retros back in the day and they were super soft and comfy. These are just the same crap hard leather used on all the GRs lately with a texture to them so they look like tumbled leather.I'm happy with them but the leather feels kinda hard tho

Yeah deff harder than I thought they would be but this makes me wonder how the Laney Vs will be in terms if leather because leather has not been JBs best in terms of use on products. The FR IIIs feel a lot better than these. I compared the Chi Xs and FR IIIs to these and in terms of leather Chi Xs>FR IIIs>>Steel Xs

The fire red threes are Harder leather too but it kinda works. I bet the laneys are cheap just like the grapes. Only the limited stuff lately use the old school soft materials

I'm happy with the Steels and they are much nicer in person IMO. My only complaint is the white/grey/black is a little bland. Chicago's > Steels all day.
Pretty surprised how many pairs of the Lebron XI are still available. Idk if they didn't sell, or they just produced crazy pairs. thinking about keeping my pair DS so I can return them in a few weeks and scoop off swoosh for a discount.
I've heard people mention price kept people away but people usually pay WAY more for Brons.

Where do you guys sell your personal collection, out side of CL, eBay, and NT? I'm trying to get rid of a few items in my signature but I'm not really interested in taking the IG/Kixify route, too many scammers and flakers.

cap, i just took a crapload of pairs to soledoutnyc down near edison. it's a consignment shop (15%), but he moves a good amount of pairs. one good thing is he also does orders via paypal invoice internationally. he usually posts pairs available on his IG feed and his website, but he hasn't updated his website in a while. with the store just opening a few weeks ago, he hasnt had much time to do so.
east coast boutique in rahway is a good spot too, but they're in-store only. however, i dropped off 3 pairs of jordans to them just to try them out and they sold those within 2 weeks. its a consignment, as well, but you name your price that you want and they just tack on an extra $20-25 or so for themselves. they don't take a percentage like soledout does.

... as much grief as I give him, he did sell a pair of kicks for my boy like 2 weeks ago. Cool dude in person, surprisingly he was nothing like the rant he went on last month.I might end up going the cosignment route if have too, I was trying to avoid it but it's probably my best bet if I want to avoid all of these lowball offers.

oh it popped off in here with the owner of ECB? i didnt remember meeting him when i went down there, but they were all pretty chill. they called me on my cell every time they sold a pair of kicks, asking me if it's okay to sell at a certain price (i gave them a price range for each shoe), and yada yada.
nonetheless, after all was said and done, my kicks got sold fairly quickly.
im trying to move A LOT of my stuff too but just dont wanna go thru the hassle of taking pics, uploading, posting, dealing with flakers, etc.; which is why i went the consignment route. i still have a lot of pairs i want to try and sell myself, and i'm stuck in the same predicament as you.
we should just start up a shoe garage sale somewhere haha

at this point, i'm really contemplating on selling the pairs i need to sell for just $20 over retail + pp fees & shipping. i just need to make space in the house more so than make money

Me too, I'm pretty much selling everything I have for the exact price I paid for them. I rather help somebody out than sit back and wait for an outrageous offer. I just hate dealing with people that know the actual market value and still hit you a lowball offer
