Chimay Blue is world class. You just have to really like the styles they do. Blue is a belgium dark strong ale. Red is a Dubbel. White, a tripel.
Speaking of Dubbels, a buddy gave me some New Belgium Abbey, dubbel. Quite a nice sweet candy type malt sweetness. No complaints at all on that one. BA score is quite nice too. Can't believe I have ignored that one for so long.
RE Asian Beers. TsingTao and Sapporo are two Ive had. Basically Asia's Budweiser and Miller Lights. The world all around us is dominated by the 4% water logged nearly skunk like flavored beers.
I popped the top to a 15 BCBS last night. Superb stuff. I now have two to age for at least 6 more months. It had quite a bite, but I never felt it to be too sweet. My taste buds are probably skewed by now.
