man i usually sit out week 1 and see how teams comes out. i'm tempted though

Definitely not a bad idea, but I also think there's a lot of value too as I think Vegas makes a lot of these lines based on public perception for week 1. Look at all the teams that are SB contenders who are road favorites. Colts, Packers, Seahawks...They know Joe bettor is laying chalk.

I certainly wasn't expecting a blowout like that. I was thinking rookie vs. rookie, we should see tons of mistakes, therefore a close game. Never liked it as a bet though. Too much unknown.
