Yeah man something similar happened to me a year or two ago in which a model jumped out her apartment in Manhattan and committed suicide and literally landed steps from my car. I posted about it on here too.
It was stuck in my head for a few, but yours seems worse in which you feel you could have prevented it. I don't know man don't eat yourself up over it and just try to go on with your life.

wholetime, like a week ago on my way home after a night of binge drinking i saw one car in FLAMES, like the whole top half of the car, and another car. i'm guessing it was a head on collision, but as SOON as i saw the burning car i saw somebody getting dragged to the side of the road... the body looked lifeless. !%@% was wild man, i still don't know what really happened, nor do i want to know. a part of me said stay to help but there was already a crowd and i'm not a medic
