NT Going Bald Crew: Male Pattern Baldness FTL

I'm 30. Not balding just receding hairline is what I notice most. My friend swears by this propecia stuff. Always telling me about it. Anyone used it??

I spoke for a doctor about this and she told me there are proven medication other than the ones listed in this thread that do grow your hair.

However the side effects are crazy like suicidal thoughts, diarhea, anal bleeding, etc. they aren't mentioned becuase the side effects are too much.

And also Viagra and cialis and medication like that actually do work for hair growth too. From what I heard but it has to be used constantly but it's dangerous besides the constant boner.

This, like when you gain weight you think you're getting away with it with silly tricks because no one says anything. Till make the leap to the buzz or baldy and you start hearing the "finally" type comments.

Are you talking about dutasteride(avodart)? That's the only other one I've ever heard of besides propecia or rogaine, but it essentially does the same thing as propecia (blocks enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT). Admittingly I don't know much about it.

I've never heard of viagra or cialis working, but that would be pretty annoying to walk around all day every day with a woody just to save your hair. I'm not sure how they save hair though, in order to do so they would have to act in a similar fashion as propecia by blocking DHT.

If you're lucky and the shape of your head is right, you might legitimately look better bald than with hair, like these guys:

But God help you if you have a head like this:

You'd have my condolences. And facial hair helps a lot too.

^I think that's how my head is shaped lmao.

I can't go fully bald. I hope I don't have to.

I thought hair pieces were ridiculous but this isn't bad looking at all. You would have to get it re-attached every month. I guess it's just a matter of comfort having glue stuck on your scalp.

Thought I was joining this crew after my last haircut till I realized he pushed my **** crazy far back and I still got a dope *** hairline at 24 :pimp:

im tempted to seek out a consultation for this...

reason being my hair grows quickly but blades (straight and cartridge) leave with serious razor burn...i miss using clippers, or a trimmer but none cut low enough...i currently use the wahl 5 star shaver and while works decently, the foils are flimsy...

I just came back from Istanbul Turkey, i had a 10 hr layover and decided to check out the city.

City was mad beautiful. Almost every single man i saw walking around over there had bandages on their head. The whole airport was filled with dudes with bandages on the back of their head. Turns out its only like 1k-2k to do a FUE over there.

As you can see from the pic, i am perfect candidate  but i dont care about this ish, i embraced it.

If you're looking into SMP, look into trichopigmentation. It's not permanent like SMP, which is good for a few reasons. SMP isn't actually "permanent", it can fade over time but the ink turns a bluish hue which is a bad look. The SMP industry is crazy so just be careful, they will tell you lies and promises to take your money and just to get you in that chair. Contact the Shapiro Medical Group in Minnesota for a consultation to get some info if you are really serious, then go from there. There are other reputable clinics besides them but it's a good place to start.

About Turkey, that's funny that you saw all the post op guys walking g around. Turkey is a hotbed for "medical tourism", mainly hair transplants. I actually considered going there for mine because the only other Doctor I considered is in Instanbul (Dr. Koray Erdogen) because his results are really impressive and he's 1/3 of the price of the best doctors in North America. However, there are 100 bad clinics for every good one in Turkey. They're called "hair mills" where you have a bunch of technicians doing pretty much the entire surgery and the clinic is doing 10-20 surgeries a day. They entice vulnerable men by promising them full heads of hair for $1-2k, who end up just getting their heads jacked up and looking worse than before. That's why I really stressed in my previous posts, do your research if you are seriously considering a HT

Yep you can definitely mix the two of you are willing. Just remember, you have to take them indefinitely. As soon as you stop, your hair loss will most likely catch back up to you, where it would have been had you never even started the treatments

Btw someone in here mentioned "PRP hair treatment". Whats that about?

Interesting talk on hair follicle cloning. Supposed to be the mother of all hair restoration treatments. They need to hurry and drop that ****!

went from video director  to julian edelman real quick

Kinda funny since he had the George Costanza horseshoe haircut where there's only hair on the sides and then he gets an undercut where they shave off the sides. His undercut looked better than the haircut I gave myself. SMH.
